You cant fix stupid. They moved to 3 to select freaking Dion Jordan a mediocre DE. Instead of staying pat at 12 and then moving back into first to select 2 beasts in day 1, 2 BEASTS, they get one mediocre player. And that is the Dolphins draft in nutshell for the past as long as I can remember. They coulda had Lotulelei and Jarvis jones, or Eifert or Patterson, Two players, yet they get one.

dont take the criticisms to heart, I agree with you in some ways. Impressed how we got the 3rd pick....not impressed with how we used it, but only time will tell!
Bottom line yeh he was probably taken early but its who we targeted. The draft is and always has been a crap shoot. You never really know what you're going to get until a yr or two later.
Why are you piling on him when he started it where it should be? I don't often agree with the posts of TGFD, but I have to completely agree on this one. We have LOTS of holes to fill. We could've easily filled 2 very key needs with the 12 and 42, but instead we moved all the way to 3 for a player that I have watched in his entirely 2 years now, and while he is a "Nice" player, I don't see him as anything more than that.
The Best Thing they did so far in 2 days is trade this #82 pick. The best thing you can do when you cant draft is not to draft at all.
Whoever works in that department and whoever had a hand in making that draft board should be fired, and whoever makes decision on these picks should've been fired 5 years ago.
The consensus 'best defensive player in the draft' by people who know pretty much know the prospects more than me or anyone else here..... is being complained about. We paid less than any other team who moved up in the first round, except that we got 3, and none of them got anything even remotely close to that. Look at minnesota and NE. I just don't even. Mediocre? LOL complain just to complain more. I will admit day 2 was not a good turn out .... but You will be eating your words about DJ. it was all part of a bigger plan.

I suppose you would know But I suppose that's why you're the GM of a winning franchise. because YOU don't pick the #1 rated defensive player in your draft. Kudos!
