Hypothetical question here, me and my boy were talking about this. If you could what would you rather do? Sit in with the dolphins staff in the draft day war room for the first 2 days of the draft weekend and be able to see everything that's going on, or be able to pick which ever two games you want during the season and get a headset so you can listen in on what the coaches/coordinators are saying throughout a game and throw in your opinion hear in there. Me, I would rather sit in with the staff of draft day so I could know who we wanted to pick but it didn't fall through or whatever. Also because you would be able to know how the coaches feel about certain players on the roster and certain rookies going to other teams. What about you guys? If anyone has some better ones, let's hear them. Edit: Mods if this belongs in the lounge, my bad.
I'll take the draft experience too. They probably would be too much technical jargon going on between the coaches and players that I'd never know exactly what is going on and that would take away from the experience.
It would be nice to know the truth from draft day instead of the speculation of who they could have traded with or who they considered but didn't take. I know there are lots of speculation long after the draft and it would be nice to know the truth.
Draft without a second thought. I can guess what goes on between coaches on gameday to a degree, especially as some are now wired, but I have no ****ing clue what goes on in a draft war-room and would love to be a fly on the wall to see why certain decisions are made.
This should be like in a raffle or something but you'd have to swear to secrecy about what you hear. That would be the ultimate fan experience for sure.
i'd probably pick the two games with the headset on and listening in to what they do on the field. would learn a lot on what the team does/thinks in live situations.
would be cool to hear the adjustments coaching staffs make during a game, but the draft and seeing how they rate and value prospects would be a cooler experience imo
Draft. When I'm watching the game, I just want to watch the game. The draft experience would be far more interesting and valuable to me.
Or how about this one, be able to sit in on a day or two of training camp, which ever day you want. Be out at practice and all the player and private coaches meetings. That I think could compete with draft day, still might lean towards the war room but man that would be pretty sick.
Draft, but either wd be really cool. I wonder if the NFL will ever do something like NASCAR where you can listen in on the radio during the game? That wd be really cool too, but just chock full of problems.
That's tough because as a coach it would be pretty amazing to have a head set on during a game. But there isn't much in the world I would rather do than sit in a war room during the draft. I would be like a little kid in a candy store.
I don't think there's anyway any of us would know what the hell they are talking about during a game unless we were versed in their code lingo.
