http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/content/sports/epaper/2007/12/20/1221finsreax.html Anybody who's had a proven track record like Bill Parcells' is exciting for us old players," former Miami linebacker John Offerdahl said. "Wayne (Huizenga) is doing things necessary to keep the commitment and give the fans and the franchise in its treasured past a hopeful future." Harry Carson, a linebacker under Parcells with the 1980s Giants, called Parcells and the Dolphins "a natural fit" because Parcells spends plenty of time in his Jupiter home. O.J. Anderson, a West Palm Beach native who was named Super Bowl MVP while playing for Parcells and the Giants, said he is certain Parcells "will make positive things happen." "Everything Bill touches, within three to four years, it always comes out being a championship type of team," Anderson said. "Hey, I'm going to call him up, see if he needs me to do anything for him." Former Dolphins linebacker Bob Brudzinski said Parcells was "a great catch," but also hopes he keeps head coach Cam Cameron. Parcells will have total control over football matters, Huizenga said, and Parcells said Thursday he hasn't decided the fate of Cameron or General Manager Randy Mueller.
I hope Cameron and Mueller stay on board. I really like the way the offense was going this year before we got hit with injury.
