Our team has all of these picks this coming year. There are a number of Draft Elligible athletes that have questions about their football abilities, but what about medical risks? There are a couple of athletes that FIT what we want, and are high character guys, but where do they fit into the strategy? Are we in a position to draft talent, regardless? Jarvis Jones Marcus Lattimore Kenny Stills Tyler Wilson Thoughts... GV44
I want us to draft Lattimore. He can get healthy while we test the Miller/Thomas duo and test out Gray. We have flexibility for next year with those 4 RBs
Just watched this Christine Michael stuff: http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=LCVqxFeWFoU&feature=related Gotdamn are there some serious plays in there, wow. But he comes with the character, injury, and coachability concerns...overslept at the combine and whatnot. I've seen some rank him as high as 2-3 RB in this class, some as low as 10; no idea where he'll actually go because of the big questions. Not sure I've heard that Kenny Stills is high character guy though; I heard the opposite iirc - DUI, generally immature trash-talker. But I hear you on the premise that we're more likely/able to explore these guys given the number of picks, which is pretty cool.
Yup. I took him with a comp pick at the end of the 4th for the Bills in the GML. Despite the fact I already had Spiller, Kendall Hunter and Mike Goodson. If Miami takes him its with Sherman's blessing and we know he's tough(egnew)
IMO, I think it's to soon into the rebuilding of the locker room. I am hoping, Philbin will try to get the LR established before taking on the problem child, which might take a couple of years. Not sure about the injury concerned guys.
The character concerns that I personally believe are deal breakers for Philbin are: - laziness - repeat offenders of anything bad (Honey Badger) - locker room lawyer types I don't think medical issues are automatically deal breakers.
