I keep seeing more and more people projecting Eric Fisher to the Chiefs instead of Luke Joeckel lately.

This is what I said after the combine. Don't let his forty time make you miss on this guy Put the tape on. Johnthan Banks is a stud cornerback. He's quite possibly the best zone cornerback in this draft. Best ball skills of any corner in the draft.

I don't think it's just a 40 time with Banks. He clearly had some issues keeping up with guys against Alabama and Ole Miss. He makes up for his lack of speed with good technique and intelligence. He knows which guys he'll have to open his hips up against early and which guys he can be more aggressive with. But sometimes he gets that wrong and when he gets to the pros there will be more guys that will cause him to have to flip his hips early, and those guys will also be pretty good at cutting off the route and catching the football underneath. They'll get a lot of easy catches.

HE is also possibly the biggest P in the draft as well. Cant think of a softer CB then Banks

Worst case scenario @ #12 is a player in blue, I'd be happy with any of those guys.

I have Fisher as first in the tackle class as well..he just has incredibly quick mirror skills..it's like he anticipates the defenders rush moves quicker than anyone else..

I guess tackle still is an important position, noone even mentions someone other than a tackle going first.

Banks is a good player. He's going to make a lot of plays in the right system.

I'm seriously wondering if Kiper, who has him going at #2 or any other of these draft guys who laud him as a top notch pass rusher have bothered to watch film of him rushing the passer. There's no there there. Fool's gold. He got a garbage sack at the end of the Senior Bowl giving him 2, after laying a stinky egg all week in practice, and now he's totally overrated by thise who assume that he's a pass rusher. Watch the film- this guy is clueless as to how to beat an OT while rushing the passer. Freaking clueless. He is the single most overrated player in the draft right now, and his athletic competitvie advantage is about to drop down markedly when he goes to the NFL- best of luck succeeding with no skills and no technique against top notch athletes. I'm a fan of his athletically, but Kiper having him at #2 overall? Chalk one up to the downside for Uncle Mel, terrible call.

Reminds me MUCH of Vernon Ghoulston...cept, Ghoulston actually had a nice college Career, playing against good players... BYU didn't play a good schedule last year.
