I have been to Glasgow a couple of times .Interesting place and I had a very good time there.Welcome .
Welcome to the site, did you move to Scotland or always lived there? If you've always lived there, what made you a fan of the NFL and the Dolphins specifically? I think those stories are interesting since the sport isn't as huge in other places as it is here in the states.
Ive lived in scotland all my life. I became interested in the nfl because we used to get only one game every week on the tv over here so i would watch that with my dad n uncle as a kind of sunday ritual. Im a dolphins fan because when it was first broadcast over here (before i was born) my dad and uncle would watch it and became huge fans of marino for obvious reasons and my dad raised me a dolphins fan. I was at the first london game with the giants and i was at raiders game last season, that was my first time seeing them at home. Loved it!!! I keep up to date with game pass on my laptop which is a lifesaver for overseas fans
Welcome! We have a few people from Scotland on this website I believe. When you went to the game last year, who did you go with? Did you meet up with a group of fans or tailgate with anybody or anything of that nature?
Thanks for sharing, I think Marino made many a Dolphin fan. I guess the time difference for live games isn't too bad except for the night games.
I went to the game with my uncle and my dad. We were over with the rest of my family visiting family in sarasota and spent a bit of time in orlando. I didnt meet with anyone specifically but got chatting to a few guys in the car park and had a couple beers. Tailgaiting is a refreshing experiance coming from scotland. We get nothing like that over here. If you get caught by the police with a beer on your way to a football (soccer) game you get a heavy fine. I really enjoyed the atmosphere Pre-game in miami, much different to what i was used to
