You were almost right on both. I just couldn't pass on a RB at this point with the value still on the board
I would have, he's the darling of my eye at that position from the Spartans but there should be some amazing value come round 6 and later as well.
my only fear is if he turns out to be Ron Dayne because he would prefer to dance around, and the leap... Brian Leonard did that but he didn't translate to the NFL very well.
Ya Dayne popped into my head as well lol Guilty by association....that's why I leaned toward Ellington
It's going to be a while. If someone is interested in trading a player for the pick I'm interested. Salary has to be under 2 mil. If not its going to be later tonight.
so is this another type of BK'd? maybe BKing... blocking someone from making their draft pick in a timely fashion.
Well GoT is on tonight and the finale of The Walking Dead so not a total loss. I did want to keep this thing moving though.
I also had the new Doctor Who episode and BBC America's new filmed in Toronto series Orphan Black to get me thru the slow points this weekend.
Well I got some trade up offers but I just can't do it. If there wasn't a LB run then maybe but damn you guys get me jumpy when a position goes 4 out of 7 times. Its why I took Evans. I traded down thinking I could still get Rambo but nope the Bills coveted him as well.
Happens too damn much. I was pissed when Sylvester was taken in round 2. I was hoping he would go unnoticed. After Bills took Rambo that was it no more hoping my guy will fall.
yeah, it's pretty bad... He'll never play again. He'll be lucky if he can run, let alone jump on it. in football the only two injuries that compare (I never saw Thesmann's until well after) were Napoleon McCallum (Raiders rb on a Monday night) and Tim Krumrie (Bengals NT in the superbowl)
You could be like me and target guys who had higher stock the year before but are slipping in a year where there isn't true elite prospects.
