It seems more like a glorified nickle package than a pure 3-3-5, which I played in in HS. You can definitely see elements of 3-4 in there as well with Irvin as an OLB, but how will he do in pass coverage? This is a guy who has played with his hand down in the dirt all through college and is now going to be lined up inside the box. The front three though is perfect for a 3-man front, and the secondary is loaded. Interested to see how the middle shapes up.
Nothing new. He never officially accepted my trade in the first round when i got future hofer Hopkins. Guess we need to start over from that spot. Redo.
Like I said its up to mad scientist DC Dan Quinn. 3-3-5 is the base D. 3-4 and 2-4-5 will be used as well. He may even use some 5-2 with Irvin and Morgan as DE's and then an interior of Cody at NT and Smith and Franklin as DT's. What differentiates it from a "glorified nickel" would be gap responsibilities. But in many respects a 3-3-5 is simply a nickel and 3-4 combined. All I'm doing is taking the blitz elements of a 3-4 and the coverage elements of a nickel.
Yah it's weird. I remember a lot more folks running with it last year. I think maybe 2 people had to run 2 teams..but it was pretty active. Not sure what's wrong this year.
Hey guys... left my draft sheet at home so I guess we'll have to wait it out because I can't remember my top 3 players on the board.........
It's far from a glorified nickle if you attack out of it. It has much more flexibility than one may think. I'm on my phone but I did my homework on It a couple years back when I was the Dolphins. And Polomalu as a freelancer. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
I warned people. I am not to be taken lightly during the draft. Now my secondary is on another level.
1030, mofo. trade accepted I don't have time to accept in other thread I'm tryin to chug these beers before work.
right which is why I refused to deal Irvin and drafted Two and kept Wagner and traded Lynch for Ayers and Morgan because it gave me so much scheme flexibility on D. Ayers in particular was a huge piece for me because he made a 3-3-5 possible since he's one of the best blitz backers in the league.
That's why I use online draft resources that I can access on my phone ;p I've left my cheat sheet at work twice now...so thank god for online resources lol.
Why don't you guys just PM yourselves your cheat sheets? Also 3 more picks til #56, anyone looking to move up/into the second round?
Don't go Canadian on Silverphin. It'll only confuse him that in Canada the halfback is a DEFENSIVE position.
Nappy...I can't wait till DaRick Rogers screws up so royally that the new meme becomes the DaRick Roll!
Demanding? My trade up with Schisno took all of 2 minutes from first PM to posting on the forum. Easiest trade I've had outside of my early ones with RickyBobby.
Amerson is a hell of a boom or bust player. Great ball skills but not as fluid as he could be. Reminds me of Terrell Buckley in that he's either going to make a great play on the ball or the other team will get a completion.
I merely gave options of configuring a trade with me to get to 56. TVC is a good guide, but its not like I'm demanding I win and expect more points.
Yup it's a solid guide. I've gone way under it at times even. ex: trade out of first with PSG where I gave up at least 125pts on that chart.
