If we were a new franchise, expansion, and they gave the fans these 2 to pick, I think the new one would be the overwhelmming winner.

 

This is true. The smaller this logo is, the worse it looks; but overall, I love the change.

 

He would have to be an idiot if he didn't think this was going to happen.

 

I agree that it doesn't fit a ball cap as well, but I think it fills the space on a helmet better than the current logo and far better than the old logo.

I knew what you meant and thank you, but I try to never compare myself to others in such matters. Everybody has their own standards for how they want to be.

He should be pushed off for not launching it around about the time the Jags did, no excuse to leave it so close to the draft and so far into the league year. The big lead up to it just made it more and more likely that it would be leaked.

 

Yeah, all that stupid national publicity that has been generated over our team the past few months with the logo is real sign Dee is stupid. We should have been more like the Jags when they got no exposure at all.

I agree wholeheartedly. He brought this upon himself and as Berezo mentioned, is a complete idiot if he didn't think this would happen.

He could have done what the jags was and to maintain our curiosity and enthusiasm, keep the uniform reveal for the Draft. That would have been ideal and makes the most sense.

 

You really think he wanted the logo to be leaked so that his big unveiling goes down like a lead balloon? Building suspense and publicity is one thing, but waiting too long is another, and they've done that.

 

I would be interested to see if there will be a secondary logo for Ball Caps.

That one could be nice if they go with a simple M in a sunburst.

Notice the uniforms haven't been leaked yet. Basically, what we have is the exact same thing as the Jags but with tons of national media exposure.

Many people do not understand the marketing game....Dee is Peyton Manning.

In fact, Dee is so good at marketing and manipulation that he could be dropped into Game of Thrones and not only survive, but thrive.

They changed it back to the old one.

 

They briefly had the new logo up. It has seen been replaced with the old (err...current?) one.

 

At the time it was posted, it had the new logo for us, instead of the old one.

 

It used to have our new leaked logo, but it was taken down recently.

Someone needs to photoshop the trollface onto the Dolphin.
That way I can have an updated avy.

That rotation makes the tail look smaller also. Which before it seemed out of proportion.

 

Which to be honest....kinda fits with my theory of a secondary logo that will be used in places where this does not work. I very much agree with you...on the face of a hat....I dont think this logo works at all...but..being that the hat market is so large...and the new deal with 49 and new era...I think they are cognicent of that
