Miami Dolphins New logo/uniforms Thread

Since it sounds like the uniform is a "throwback", I wish they would've gone with grey facemasks as opposed to white. I too am having trouble envisioning the white facemasks.

 

Chiefs are the only team that has them presently. Miami will be the 2nd.

 

Try imagining the new Dolphins logo instead of the Indiana Hoosiers logo...

 

I am fu&$in stoked, this is gonna look cool y'all...throwback colors, white face masks, maybe black cleats..

 

Classic helmets and unis. Too bad it's the Patriots.

 

Damn, was hoping with new Unis that we'd wear our home colors at home more often.


I at least hope there is an alternate Orange jersey for special occasions again.

 

The logo is ok, but the new unis have me excited as well. Really hate that they're unveiling on draft day, but as Armando speculated, I have to believe that was league coercion.

From the 1972 Undefeated season. I'd say black cleats count as throwback. Count me in for those too. I kind of liked the look of them in 2009-10, even though they didn't match the modern jersey.

I sure hope so. I was skeptical of the actual leaked logo when I first saw it. After reading Crazy's post and with Armando chiming in, I'm feeling better about it. Obviously, we'll see what happens. Just stinks that they're unveiling it on draft day...now I have to divert my attention to something else IN ADDITION to the Draft? I know I'm not getting anything done at work that day.

 

The uniform sounds like it's gonna be cool, but Humpy the whale is gonna ruin it.

 

The Orange jerseys were cool, and they almost always played a great game when they wore them. Lot of close wins: 29-28 over the Pats; the 24-23 Jay Fiedler comeback against the Redskins; Chad Henne's Monday Nighter. I was at the only game where they lost in the orange the next year against the Jets - my only trip to Miami.

That said, I was always more fond of the all-aqua.

 

I like those too.

 

Just coming here to give Crazy props. Guy was murdered here, when he was giving us legit information. He has a decent post count, so we knew he wasnt some 1 post troll. Glad he is vindicated here. And happy about the logo and white facemask, I can't wait to get me a Tannehill jersey baby!!!!!!

 

It was only like 3 people, but props to Crazy. I don't know what's going to be worse, the "tail-between-the-legs" of the doubters, or the gloating they've afforded Crazy!

I like the white face masks. It's like the "U". If I'm not mistaken, no other team in the NFL has white helmets and white face masks.

 

Looks like the NFL asked Ross to unveil the uniforms during the draft.

 

Chiefs, and I find it annoying that we have to wait till the draft.

 

Jersey sales through the roof draft night. I am purchasing a Tannehill one that night.

And thanks guys, no need to thank me. Just posted all that info before to give you an idea about the new look and to confirm the logo madness. Glad that Armando was willing to admit finally that it WAS the logo, and that Mike Dee was lying.

As for the haters, whatever. No big deal. People always try to pee in the punchbowl. What was the one guys name, who said that he'd admit it if he was wrong? Perfectville? Yeah, I wouldn't mind him eating some crow, considering how nasty he was.

JT did a great job putting together a helmet based on my description. That's really, really close to the real thing.

 

It's got to have the single aqua stripe for it to look cool, if there is any orange in it with the contrast of the white face mask it won't..
