I find it funny that Jackie Long tweeted this along with a picture of the arch.

    We made it!!! http://pbs.twimg.com/media/BGHUmPwCYAESz5P.jpg

Keep in mind I live just across the river on the illinois side from St. Louis and we're getting pounded with snow right now. Might get up to a foot of it. Here's my back yard lol.

Wonder how much she's liking the move right now? :shifty:

If Jake performs there as he had been here, that arch is going to be pretty representative of their O-Line for the next 5 years.

Lol this isn't about letting it go or being upset he didn't resign... I'm fine with it. Just humorous that they get here to over a foot of snow. Take it easy.

I love the snow and miss it living in the deep south.

Also, Long went to Michigan. I doubt it's a big problem. I'm sure all of us would take that snow along with his money! ;)

While were at it, let me say this: I suspect Long will perform better in St. Louis than had he stayed in Miami. I think psychologically he'll be deeply motivated to a) prove he's better than Miami's view of him; and b) (more importantly) to show St. Louis' his worth. He also knows he needs to do that if his contract will go past two years (though actually the actual income he will get in the latter years will be less).

I think he is referring to the dome the rams play in... Which really isn't a fun venue to watch football in...

I've worked games in the snow...
As long as there's no ice, it's still safe.

Er, I was referring to the football stadium. I didn't see the golf part of your statement. Excuse me while I go work on my reading comprehension.

It wasn't even me who got quoted. The quote was "Its hard to play golf in snow" followed by "Good thing they have a dome stadium"

My later reply was just a joke poking fun at the idea of a golf stadium.

Hope he's got a shovel. I'd make his Mrs do it. Jake might pull a labrum. That snow is a biiatch! :-)

I can see the headline now.

"Jake long tears ACL shoveling snow."

No,its true, Jake did not want to play here anymore. Love the kid but now am asking myself, can he play like he used to play. Jake played at such a high level his first two years its hard to remember his last years here. Not great but certainly not putrid. Funny thing is Jake was such a high profile signing for a team like the Rams and I have scoured all over and have seen nothing about them introducing him to the fans via the media.

He cannot particpate in OTAs until the middle of May anyway.
