Awesome crime, mystery, comic drama. Ex thief works with an ex cop turned PI to solve cases etc, including one main one that carries the course of the season. Perfectly cast, great storyline, well acted; awesome depth & character development that grows on you; entire season builds up well into the final episode. Donal Logue (below left) is outstanding; knocked it out of the park. FX cancelled it after 1 year b/c they totally mismarketed it (poor poor title choice and cover picture of a dog that makes you think more of an Animal Planet show rather than a mystery). However it ties up nicely after 1 season so you don't feel like you're left hanging.
Me too..... although I'm glad it's a show that wraps up well after season 1 so that you don't feel like you're left hanging w/o a conclusion.
Anyone who passes on this show is really missing out. It's top notch material right out'a the gate IMO.
No. I guess they thought the character of terriers fits the main 2 characters or some dumb sh-t like that. There's a dog in the show, but it's not a terrier.
I have a Westie! The one on the left looks like a Westie. Awake was another show that was a 1 season gem. People didn't like the ending, but I have a theory to explain the ending that would have made season two interesting!
