Like I said on twitter - the season is over. I don't think we're gonna beat the Lakers streak, and frankly - I don't care. I wanted to win at least 23 in a row and beat this ****ing team. Man, it feels so ****ing good.
hmmmmm. for a fan base accused of talking so much ****..they sure are quiet about winning 23 in a row........
It's a nice thing, wish my team did it...but fact remains its 11 games away from the record. And I'm guessing you guys would prefer another ring.
Without the ring it's just shiny glitter. Now if we do win it makes this a water cooler season that is always in discussion like the Bulls in 96.
Our closing lineup last night beat Boston 22-7 down the stretch. I think that grouping is the real story of this streak. They have been destroying teams in crunch time.
who the hell is beating Miami? The Celtics for some odd reason play them the toughest....I don't get it... I like Paul Pierce, kid is a dynamite ballplayer...holds his own against LBJ very well...
that was 3 years ago. Yesterday..Bron 37 pts. 12 rebs 7 assists. Pierce and his wheelchair 17 pts. 7 TO's. Pierce used to be a killer...now he is just a sad old man.
Add another historic LBJ dunk to the archives http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2013/3/...s-dunks-jason-terry-kevin-garnett-damon-jones
Is that all 37 coming when PP is guarding him Sec....he just plays him tougher unlike most others... While I dont like the Celts at all, I have always liked Pierce...
I know. I watch some of these guys who are the same age as I am and I'm like, "why does he look so old?"
Well the guy just isn't clutch. It's not in his genes. Like that shot last night with ten seconds left. There's no It Factor there.
It did rattle around in the rim before going down. Kobe would have swished it on a fall away jumper with all five of the other team's defenders on him. Pass? I think not.
Paul Pierce is like every other old and finished former great player. He can muster it up once every 5 games. He is done. can't move.
http://deadspin.com/lebron-james-is-a-better-defender-than-the-computerized-456410614 The full story on this new camera tracking system that teams are using is actually on Grantland and it's absolutely amazing: http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id...ors-sportvu-cameras-nba-analytical-revolution
It's not "The Media". It's jealous fans of other teams and their beat writers. The mainstream made like good little reporters and shut up after the title...
LeBron James has played 48 clutch minutes during the current win streak. Anyone know his stat-line for those minutes? 49 POINTS 18 ASSISTS 16 REBOUNDS #clutchgene
