Yeah.. it sucks too, because they have two studs (one proven, one potentially) on their defensive line set to wallow there. Such a waste. By the time the Jets are up to speed again these guys will be old and over the hill. I really don't know what they're doing with Revis, really dumb.
They are banking on TB eventually giving in and giving up their #13 pick...The Jets honestly believe someone will give a 1R for Revis...
Ha! I love it. I bet you Rex Dip**** still projects them to win it all. And I LOVE the fact that Fireman Ed has left the building. To see them go from AFC championship games to this imploding mess has just been better then I could have hoped for.
The chickens are coming home to roost. An organization made up of a-holes that anoints itself the champion during the preseason and thinks it can buy a championship deserves what you are seeing. All that aside, if I knew Revis was 100%, wanted to play for us and was bent on revenge, I'd consider giving them our first.
This is what happens when you don't develop young talent, when the vets leave..you are screwed. Rexxy is reaping the harvest from not playing young players, he basically is rebuilding and he may not last the season.
Surely that is the issue and unfortunately for him, he has taken the title of Lame Duck coach. Idzik will get his new guy next year and avoid an embarrassment to said new guy this year. The decaying husk that is the Jets...
Yep Exactly What happened to that Jest troll that used to swim in here? It was a huge mistake to trade away most of a draft for a second string QB, and then compounded by trading away the rest of that draft for an often injured non-proven back in Greene. They then tradad more draft picks for IBM, and the rest of the defense is Revis and barrowed time. They have been paper thin across the entire roster since fatasaurus came into the picture, and we are seeing the result. In regards to Revis, I am honestly beginning to think he's not nearly back from injury. Too many red-flags from all camps.
the thing is though, for padre we have been rebuilding the last 2 years, so now the jets are "basically rebuilding"....i think if miami was rebuilding the last few years like he said or still says....we have to invent a new word for what the jets will face the next few years
Yes, and Tony Sparano couldn't take it with him when he left. You see it was created long before the advent of pen and paper (much less the computer) and being carved into granite slabs....it was a bit heavy for Tony to haul out the door.
I think one of the great moves the Dolphins made was to re-sign Matt Moore. He's a better QB than either the Bills or Jets have at this point.
I bet he does, assuming he's relatively healthy and still with the team. The Jets put up the facade last season that they supported Sanchez as their starter, but they had to since there was diddly-squat behind him on the depth chart. I predict Garrard starts 2-4 games, gets hurt and retires.
Well that's it. He's making a nice living having teams pay for his surgeries. I'd be surprised if he made it out of preseason healthy. His body just can't take the load the game requires. If it was the Garrard of 5 or so years ago, I'd be concerned that my most hated team had a competent QB.
Bump bumpity bump, we have a better defense and are qb situation is a lot more stable than people imagine. Geno's ceiling is a lot higher than Tannehill's that is for sure.
Its a race every year, as to what will happen first..... Dolphin fans hate their team. -OR- Jet fans felate their team.
that happens till they start to suck balls again (no pun intended). Then they'll all go back into hiding.
someone must have bought their superbowl tix in advance from big lou. No refunds, right? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
I give the jets some credit. They are inexplicably tough at home. But utter garbage on the road. Especially after a win.
You *have* to know how commical that sounds, right? There is no bigger train wreck than the Miami Dolphins franchise right now. I'm not trying to instigate. It's the truth. The recent events make Ross's hapless chase of Harbaugh look like a crowning achievement.
The more that comes out about this story the more it looks like this was overblown, if today was any indictation. But you can keep mindlessly believing BSPN if you want.
Does it matter what I believe? When your franchise becomes the focus of national attention for a story like this, it's not a good thing. But if you want to believe the Miami franchise is still viewed as it was in the Shula years, have at it.
