U know, u make a good point . . . . Ginn has looked good already in his first season . . . . but the reason why he was selected so high is his POTENTIAL . . . I mean he ceiling is very high . . . and my concern w/ him was that he would struggle with the basics like catching and injuries . . . but he has shown to be very durable (despite taking several big blows) and catches almost everything . . . . I wanna get a BEAST next to him (6'3, 4.4/4.5 guy) . . . and let them wreck havoc.

nice point, pairing him up with a Burress-type guy would probably free him up to be a full-time deep threat

Derek Hagan has been coming on lately, Cam seems to be feeding him the ball more like we did Chambers before the trade.

This time though, he seems to be responding..

U know, I would love if Hagan came around and him and Ginn would be our starters and throw Lbook in the slot . . . . I mean obviously we need a veteran in there who will get time in . . . but that would be sweet. Hagan has great size and pretty good speed . . . throw a TE in the draft like Fred Davis in the mix, and we have our playmakers set.

Ginn will get much opportunity to become the go-to-guy. Based on what yours truly has seen he was not waste whatsoever. It is not his fault our OL is still rebuilding, TG went down with injury, and that the D could not stop the run. There is a future with Hagan and Ginn. Go and out and spend the money on a proven vet at WR and the receving corps is getting closer.
