http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/257925/report-brady-beyond-enraged-at-welker-deal Love it Screw you Brady now your loud mouth wife will have to find someone else to blame for your failing.
That is a really weak final offer if true (and there's no reason to disbelieve it). I would imagine Brady is somewhat inconsolable today. It's not causing as much joy in my heart as the 18-1 season finale did, but I'm also not mad!
I posted this in the AFC rival forums why is this thread even in the Dolphins forum?? Mods please organize things a little better!
Any time little Tammy Buutchin blows out his Tampoon, it is indeed a very good day. I absolutely DESPISE the Denver Donkeys, but I can bury that feeling, at least for today.
Re: Welker in serious talks with Denver/Agrees to terms They must of thought it was fine since they added the signed portion to the thread title sir. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
There's some rumor that Green Bay offered Jennings 10 mil per year? Lol what? No way no how. And LISTEN UP JERKS we know Brian Hartline is getting more money than Wes Welker No need to rub that **** in
Love that Brady got the FU from the Pats on resigning Welker. Brady does the right thing and the Pats spend no money to resign their best WR. Now go sign Pollard so he can knock out Gronk for the 3rd time and then he'll take care of Tommy boy too. Then the division is ours
media up here in new england was saying amendola was really high on the patriots radar, but now reports are saying he may go back to st louis.
It comes down to value. Welker is 30+ and cost an average of 6m per year. If you can get a guy in the draft or FA that costs less and is younger to fit the role and have money left over as a result then it is a win+win+win. B.Gibson, Amendola, or T.Austin are such options. Two Phins fans in the Granite State!?! That may be a record hahaha I can tell you one thing, the Pats fans on my facebook are whining, groaning, and moaning about this...
lol, definitely a record. the whole whining thing sounds like everyone i know and most people in my family
where does this say Brady is beyond enraged? It says a source not Brady himself.. This isn't really a surprise. Sucks it was only for 12 million though..
Brady just restructured to open cap room, and they didnt use it to secure his security blanket, 118 catches last year.
They're going for youth. The real surprise will be if they don't sign Edelman to take his spot. Plus, they got two slot TE's.
That's a head-scratching approach when you have a 35 year old HOF QB on your roster. The window is closing, aren't these next two-to-three years the ultimate GFIN seasons?
I'm just saying... There are other people who an fill that spot and produce. I just don't see it as a big deal. also, the offense will be just fine, that money (even 10 mil over two years) is better spent on defense. Belichick called me earlier and I ok'd it anyway. Now get off my back.
Hell, I'd give up our 1st rounder for Pollard just on GP as it stands not to mention the ability to KTTFO in future games Pollard has quickly become one of my favorite players..... EVER!!!!
The Dolphin fan in me doesn't like the sounds of that. The fantasy football player in me would get to keep Ammendola with a 13th round pick...
It gets alittle more mind boggling when you remember that the Pats youth approach hasn't helped their Defense. Which has been a liability.
Guys/Gals, keep in mind that Amendola has missed 15 games in 2011 and 5 games in 2012. The signing is very risky from that standpoint. Couple that with the past injuries of Gronkowski/Hernandez and you could severely handicap their offense if one of them were to go down again.
I laugh at the notion that Amendola will fill Welker's 5 of 6 seasons spent with them at 110+ catches a clip at the sametime all over 1100 yards, and multiple TD's. All the while being a rock playing all 16 games... Laugh...
