May not get the chance at Revis, but none of us would cry about that. I saw this morning on Mike & Mike, Schefter said that Jets are looking very hard at a trading partner, and that they are resigned to not getting more than a # 2 for Revis (because teams know they have to get rid of him). Unless they can get more than more team interested, they are going to get low-balled on their return for Revis. Hearing that, made me smile
Also said that on their "Draft Special" Fat *** Parcells and Bill Polian said that Revis is going to ask for at least $ 15 million and maybe as much as $ 18 million, and both said no way they are going to pay anyone other than a QB or a certified pass rusher that kind of money. So do the Jets have sign and trade or do they get forced into just trading him and let the next team worry about signing him to the big contract ?
I'm not being argumentative, I distinctly remember, many people that had zero faith in Henne after his first season. Personally, I wasnt encouraged but still held out hope, as I'm accustomed to do. My point is that Tannehill has far fewer detractors than Henne ever had and much more promise, IMO.
