While I did not know about the extra 3 Mill in cap, that would have done nothing to change my gamble.

I doubt Vick gets close to his old cap number, as it was a down year for him so I'm pretty sure a lot of people won't pay too much for him either, unless they love a name player or really like Vick.

FYI. I am looking to make a similar deal like Bdog and Silverphin did for DT C.J. Mosley for a 5th. Looking for that veteran DT in a somewhat similar price range. Making the announcement cause I would have given Bdog more then that if I had known ;p

Silver was trying to get him cheaper...if he really wants him back he'll spend up to what he had cost.

The Texans are happy to welcome Asa Jackson to the team at the veteran minimum. We like the upside of the 5th round pick last year by the Ravens. Having the Ozzie Newsome stamp of approval goes a long way and he will fight for playing time in sub packages for us.

When you guys are tired of bidding on overrated, overpriced FA DE's/OLB's Trent Cole and Chris Clemons are available at affordable compensation and actually better. Thanks.
