Well I guess the WHC match for WM will be changing now as Jack Swagger was busted for DUI and possession of marijuana last night after the Smackdown tapings. What a moron, he's in line for a huge push and blows it.

Yeah. Pretty dumb by him. All misdemeanors but the arrest is a big deal for Vince. He hates the bad pub.

The wellness test is odd. I have to look but I don't remember if pot is something they test for or not. I say this because most wrestlers smoke pot. So I have always found it odd that none are ever busted in WWE other than Evan Bourne.

Great article about Nigel McGuiness/Desmond Wolfe. Came up with Bryan, Punk, Aries and others and actually had a contract in hand with the WWE before failing a physical. What I can't understand is that the WWE wouldn't pay for the surgery? I mean, he had all the tools and they were willing to sign him even with the damaged shoulder.

Sort of a long article, but a good read.

Well the WWE can release him over this:

"Any WWE Talent, who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of drugs will be in material breach of his/her contract with WWE and subject to immediate dismissal."

I would think the WWE would suspend Swagger over this. It's been all over the news and with WM so close, adding to the fact like you said Vince hates bad press and that Swagger is really a nobody in the WWE Universe I think it all points to a suspension so the WWE can say "yeah he did it but look at us we're the good guys we suspended him".

I'd have to think Orton would be the most likely guy to take Swagger's spot.

The Undertaker returned last night at a random Smackdown live event in Texas teaming up with Sheamus to face Sandow and Barrett. So that should put all the rumors to rest that he's too injured to wrestle at WM and I'd be pretty surprised if he didn't show up on RAW tomorrow night now.

Very random return. Especially since a lot of people didnt expect taker to return at all bc of his injury rumors

Think of it like a big time comedian doing a set at a small local comedy cellar. You want to work the kinks out before you are take the act on the road. Not as random as you would think and being in a tag team allows him not to have to work too hard at a house show.

Now, what would be interesting is if WWE leaks it that he returned with the ope of spiking house show attendance and getting the "anything can happen" vibe.

And yes, I think this answers the Wrestlemania question. My guess is he gets involved with the Cena-Punk match mañana.

Yeah but with the internet, a return like this pretty much makes it known by everyone hes back. Have him come back on monday, and then have him work out his kinks in house shows in tag team matches. Accomplishes the same thing without ruining the surprise. Now a lot of people speculated taker would comeback anyway but a lot thought he was hurt and would take time off. Its been rumored hes backstage yet everytime hes backstage he never comes out. I just find his return odd

Oh yeah it makes sense but if my memory serves me correctly he hasn't done that for his past 3 or 4 WM matches. That's why I think it was kind of random and out of the blue.

Taker calls his own shots more than anyone else (and rightfully so). So maybe he just decided that he wanted to wrestle since they were so close to his home? Not sure. It's somewhat odd, but I applaud Taker for doing it, if for no other reason than for the audience. He is also older than before (duh) so he may just need the bumps in order to get right.

It's a weird thing, but I can tell you from personal experience that your back actually was WORSE on days you didn't bump. The first month after I stopped, my back hurt more than anytime in my life. At one point, I asked a friend of mine if I could bump for an hour at his gym, just to get my back straight. I then didn't for a year. After a year off, it hurt like hell to but again. So Maybe Taker just needs to warm the ol' back up before e starts any major WM program.

Well that would be a let down if hes not there. Would mean most likely its Punk/Cena/Rock at WM, which I think is the best move, especially when you have the Champion gone for a few weeks. If it is Punk then Maybe tonight the lights go out, you think the shield is coming down but its taker. He cost punk his match. There is no way Cena is losing. Should be interesting which way it goes.

Lesnar bled hardway there. His head nailed the post with some force.

Also...if anyone can find a picture of HHH's wet spot in his crotch right before being put onto the table, I will be forever in your debt. It looked like he peed himself.

The Undertaker not being backstage yet isn't a big deal. Usually when the WWE wants to keep guy's returns secret they kept them in a limo/car in the parking lot or bring them to the arena during the last segment to keep the surprise. With Brock's return last April he was late getting to the arena, so when you go back to the Cena interview Cena was stalling big time waiting for Brock's music to hit.

Yup, I rewatched the "brawl" and didn't see Brock with a blade at all. Good segment for sure, just wish it was Brock vs. someone else at WM instead.

By the way, Dave Meltzer is already reporting that Brock vs. The Rock is already pencilled in for WM30.

Great match between Punk and Cena. Punk lost clean, therefore is out of the title pic. So yeah I expect taker next week during a punk angle.

  24. Punk vs Cena was a great match.

Punk was never winning but they did a good job in making me doubt the outcome.

Looks like I nailed it... although they have work to do to get Ryback vs Show.

Uhm...I can only really give you credit for the Sheamus/Barrett pick, Sec. Cena/Rock has been known for months as had Lesnar/HHH. I assume you called the Swagger/Del Rio match AFTER Swagger won the Elimination Chamber so I can't give credit there. I you called it before, then I will rescind.

Not sure what they are doing with Sheamus actually. The double dip tonight was odd. Especially since they have seemingly pulled Ryback out of The Shield storyline and replaced him with a double dipping Randy Orton. If so, it makes no sense as the storyline continuity with them has been Ryback from the get go. They debuted screwing him out of the title and have beaten him ever since. It makes sense for Ryback to finally get his justice at WM. maybe they still do that, but tonight made for a weird fork in the road. A six man Texas Tornado match would be pretty cool. The Shield vs. Ryback, Sheamus and Orton gives a nice nod to their histories and gives a lot of guys some a work at WM. it also opens up the entire arena which makes sense with these guys an dhow they have attacked each other. Ryback has to make the pin for his team, but that's fine assuming The Shield can find themselves another target of equal importance after WM.

Raw was excellent tonight. Cena-Punk was one of their best matches together ever, and that is saying something. The brawl to open the show was great and made me want to see the match again. Amazing what a little bit of hardway blood will do for a feud. Literally a blood feud now.

Still gotta find out where a lot of the players fit in at WM, but I am liking the card and direction so far. Ziggler is most likely working with Jericho, but I would LOVE to see a Ziggler-Punk match, or even another Punk-Bryan match. It won't happen but a guy can dream.

Yup Rock/Cena 2 was sent in stone the day after WM, Brock/Triple H 2 was set shortly after Summer Slam (so Mr. COO can get his revenge win back).

I'm kind of worried about the WM undercard. There doesn't seem to be any direction or thought on what's going to happen with it. Seems like they are throwing guys together randomly for no reason or build up. I mean The Shield comes out and runs down that they beat the superteam of Cena, Ryback and Sheamus then the next night beats Jericho Ryback and Sheamus and it brings out Sheamus and Orton? Just more of the same there.

I mean not like they need the undercard to help sell the event but I'd at least want matches that make sense. I'm starting to think we might just have a huge battle royal to get everyone on the card.

I am shocked that the WWE is continuing with Swagger after his arrest, the fans still aren't buying him either as all the heat is on Zeb not him. I kind of wish Henry would just destroy both of them and challenge Del Rio instead. Oh well.

Also not sure if anyone read the Chris Jericho interview where he said he only spoke with Triple H about his latest return and not Vince, which never happened before. So it seems like Vince is perhaps taking more steps back and really letting Triple H be even more hands on.

    **** Vince.

That match got huge pops at my home bar and as Cena wouldn't just die, I called out for "give him an orndorff pile driver!"..when he actually hit it...the people watching it in my house went nuts.

Their best match was at the MitB PPV, but this one was very, very good.

The piledriver spot was a great one and if they called in on the spot, kudos to them. Vince will get over it. He must have been having a coronary though between that and the blood being spilled in the opening segment.

As much as people crap on Cena and with good reason, the guy does have some crazy good chemistry with some wrestlers and usually puts on some great matches with them unlike some other top guys (cough Orton cough).

Yeah he definitely has a good gimmick that can get the crowd going. As far as push goes, he's probably going to have to wait in line to wait for now.

The WWE might not have many top established superstar guys but their mid-card is really solid and stacked with young talent.
