Just got the email. Unlike real-world GMs, I'll be taking the pulse of Dolfans to see who they'd like us to grab, so your suggestions are welcome. I'll let you know when it's slated to appear.
Cool. My only advice is...if you get down to a pick and you're not getting a bunch of fan votes so really it's just up to YOU which player to take, do not ever pick a player you have not personally watched play football a good amount and come to think of as a good football player. It seems simple, but I know how the allure of rankings and stuff like that can get people. You want to act like you're putting your name next to the guy and if he sucks then you're on the line for it. You'd hate to be on the line for a guy that sucks that you watched play only a little bit casually and mostly took because he looked like good value.
Better not be "Stone Hands" Featherstone. We already have a WR that can't stay on his feet (if we resign him). Las thing we needs is one that can't catch anything opposite him.
First Ireland and now DrAstroZoom can we catch a break, as a fan base? Let me guess you be revieling your own new Dolphins logo, then screw up the draft pick. This might be the worst day in the history of the forum. We can not afford to screw up this mock draft. Time to make up my FIRE DrAstroZoom poster now. [joking now go draft Warmack, he is a sure thing]
Surprisingly enough, I could live with Warmack at #12, imo he has a chance to be a really special player. Tackles though...
Just for the love of god draft WR's. If we don't get a good one in FA..draft 2 in the first 3 rounds.
Learned a few more details. It's a R1 draft only, and there are no trades involved. This is a bit disappointing, as a trade-down would be a serious consideration for me, depending on how free agency goes. Speaking of which, the timeline here is between 3/11 and 3/22, so if the Dolphins make some quick signings, it's possible I will be able to take that into consideration, which is good.
