Price tag is too much. I'd rather take the risk at one of the younger defensive guys for his cap.

They both had 3 big plays (sacks/INT's). David had more solo tackles (2nd in the league) and had a whopping 20 tackles for a loss (Luke 12) which is the 2nd best # for a rookie since they started recording the stat in 2000. Was 3rd overall in TFL's for the season only behind J.J. Watt and Von Miller. Part of a defensive makeover of a 31st run defense that went straight to #1.

It should have been closer in the voting at least.

Kinda funny to get rid of last years first round pick though. I know it was weird when Bears took him but still. If I ran a 3-4 I would have made a run on him.

I had plans for those first rounders, one of which was going to be WR, who we can all agree would not produce like Calvin Johnson. The other pick, would have went to pass rush or OLB because I planned on moving Hardy or Johnson......that is no longer the plan. I will keep both pass rushers, and use my 3rds to pick up DB and linebacker help, along with FA.

Now with Calvin Johnson, Jeremy Maclin, Sydney Rice and Greg Olsen, my offense is really dangerous. Not to mention John Kuhn and Jonathan Stewart coming out of the backfield, I am really happy with my playmakers. You gotta score points to win, and I have enough to do that. FA and draft will focus solely on D and sprinkle in some OL.

And holy ****.....Lions, tons of high first rounders, well done!

 

He was just out of place with the bears. I lobbied him to countless 3-4 teams. Not much interest honestly. I filled a need and cheaply. KJ Wright is no joke.

 

For the record in the madden franchise league I am in, I traded Wagner for Dwayne Bowe and a pick, and moved Kj Wright to inside linebacker to replace him, and hes a beast for real!

Accept for the multiple weeks when Maclin, Rice and Olsen are all out with injuries.
