Alot, thats where this whole mess with Taylor stems from...

Wanting to play for a contender?the guy is sick of losing.

I agree, but do you really think we are going to be a contender in 08? I think we will be lucky to get more than 6 or 7 wins. Not nearly enough to cure JT's problems with the franchise.

No, i also think we get 6-7 wins...but it would be nice to se JT retire a Dolphin.or maybe he will see the direction were headed in and hang around a few more years??

Id rather have a JT at half speed than a third round pick .The benefit that Jake will get by facing JT will outweigh such a pick IMO.

Yes I know I am a homer with rose colored glasses but I would like to see our future ROH and possibly HOF retire as a Dolphin .

Marino retired having only played for the Dolphins.Wouldnt you want JT to retire the same way ? It wasnt his fault that the team sucked during his career.

He is after all the best DE we have had in our history just as Marino was our best QB .

Some may have the same love for Zach and I can undestand the love but we have had other great LBs,Offerdahl,Buonoconti etc

I agree. If we can somehow muster 7-9 wins and JT has a great year, whose to say he doesn't forget all about a career as a D list movie star or crappy reality show journeyman and decide to help Miami over the hump into the playoffs.

well I will ask again where does winning come into the picture?

you mention losing, that isn't winning

and there won't be the kind of winning JT is looking for until 2010

he should just retire cuz we will only win 5-7 games this year and he just ruined his trade value

    He probably will in September...:wink2:

If he does not get the trade to a team that suits him...which he hopes he is not traded... he will retire a Dolphin around the start of the season...

It just seems unrealistic to see JT move at this point. He likely will retire a Dolphin, which is a good thing.
