I just mean in terms of where he will be on the card. Injuries are always a concern for all wrestlers so you can't really book around avoiding those. But fans are fickle and Punk has been at the top for two years now and a big part of the show for much longer than that. With a TON of talents now becoming established (and younger), it is quite possible that he is pushed down he card a little bit. Probably not, but in wrestling, you go with the hot hand while it is hot.

Also, the more I think about it, the more I a convinced that Heyman booked the TLC match last night. At the very least, he had input. The blackout run-in that The Shield did was a staple of ECW when Heyman ran it. It can't be just coincidence that his charge was the beneficiary. And if true, it means that Heyman may have more input on things going forward which does nothing but make me giddy as I am a fan of his creativity. Horrible businessman...but great promoter/writer.

Oh, and he isn't well liked for his ability, but I want to send a shout out to my friend, The Great Khali, who bumped very well last night for Cesaro and made Cesaro look like a million bucks. Salut, Dalip!

I still think wwe has been building up punk/Austin for years, or atleast planting the seeds. There is a lot of interest in that match. I do see punk taking a back seat as other wrestlers need a chance to shine in the title picture but I still see punk in the main event picture for a long time.

Gotcha, like I said I thought I heard he wouldn't be able to physically wrestle at WM but I guess we'll see (perhaps I was getting him mixed up with Edge and his neck surgery). I think it makes more sense to hold him out for next year in Texas. With The Rock and Brock Lesnar already scheduled to be on the card the first wrestling appearance of Austin since 2002 would definitely get lost in everything going on.

I think Austin's chances of working WM are probably at 10% or less. To be honest, I would love to see it, but also could understand not wanting to show up the new guys by bringing in yet ANOTHER Attitude era guy. Austin really is an exception though, much like The Rock.

Also, on an unrelated note, Christian is about ready to return. Will be nice to see him again.

Interesting title change at the Smackdown tapings as Del Rio beat Big Show for the WHC. I wonder if Show is hurt or failed a test as the title change seems completely random. Perhaps it will lead to Ziggler beating him or a heel Orton winning the title to set up a Orton/Sheamus WM WHC match.

Yeah, I am not sure on the logic behind that one. Advertising for February had Ryback on SD. I could only presume that the plan was for him to beat Show and look like a monster when shellshocking Show. If nothing else, this opens up a lot of avenues for the WHC on the road to WM. I don't think Del Rio will be champ for long.

I can see Ryder turning heel, Like someone said here, it could be the WWE setting up his Heel turn. A heel turn would be good, can make him get rid of his played out gimmick. It would be a good way to reinvent himself.

I think I told this story before but I went to Survivor series in 2007, after the show Bobby Lashly, CM Punk and Maria were outside talking to the fans, Lashly stayed for 3 minutes but CM Punk and Maria stayed for a while. I gave this to CM Punk to sign, said he couldn't believe I even had this ticket and I found it today

Wow what a let down RAW20 was. I figured we would have gotten more than just Flair and Foley. Even The Rock/Punk stuff was kind of eh. And hey good thing Cena beat Ziggler AGAIN, lord knows the WWE needs to keep Cena strong so he can win the Rumble. Maybe it was my fault for expecting more though because it was a milestone show.

I was hoping that last night's show would have been similiar to the "old school" RAW show that they had a couple of years ago. Bring back the old set for 1 night, bring back maybe Koko B Ware and have him wrestle in a match (since he was in the first match of the very first episode of RAW) or get someone to dress up like Max Moon and wrestle. Bring in a couple of legends, maybe have a gimmick battle royal. Just something fun like that, especially with RAW being 3 hours it just would have been a nice change for a night.

For it being the 20th anniversary show I just thought something bigger would have happened or went down. But it was just another typical RAW show.

I guess 1000 episodes is more important then 20 years, which is weird because they had episodes that were not really episodes like new year eve ones where it was a highlight show and the Chris Beniot episode.

Those still technically count as episodes though. Even when "real" TV shows have clip shows they count them as an actual episode.

True, but if WWE released a box set of every wwe raw 1-1000, they would put 999 episodes on there. But still I would think 20 years trumps 1000 episodes.

I'd probably agree with you, I think bragging about being on TV for 20 years is a bigger deal than saying they got to 1000 episodes. Especially when they're a weekly show that never has a rerun.

As far as if the WWE put out every episode of RAW there would only be 1-999, why is that? Where's that 1 episode, assuming you're still counting the Benoit Tribute one.

Well it's a moot point since the WWE would never release every single episode of RAW (they won't even release a Best of Seasons 3 & 4 due to the poor sales of Seasons 1 & 2) butI wouldn't blame them for holding back on that mistake episode.

I'm actually surprised the WWE doesn't allow fans to make their own DVD. I mean they own basically every high profiled wrestling company's tape catalog. Why not charge fans 30 bucks for 3 hours of footage and be able to pick random matches or make your own superstar collection DVD. It probably wouldn't be hard to copy and burn to a disc and people would jump at doing that. For example the WWE will never release a "Best of Earthquake" DVD so if someone wants to pay 30 bucks and hand pick Earthquake matches why not? Or pick random matches from all different companies, wrestlers, PPVs, etc.

It just seems like the WWE is wasting money by not doing it. If they ever did I know I'd jump at a chance to make a few of my own.

Because that cost would be insanely expensive. 30 bucks doesn't even begin to cover the cost it would take to put that together. What would be more realistic is having the library be available to stream online and/or on demand.

Doesn't the WWE have an on-demand online stream? I know they have it on certain cable stations.

I'm not sure it would be as expensive as you think as they probably already have all of their tape library on a digital database already so it would just be like burning a music playlist to a CD. The DVD would simply be barebones, no menus or chapters selections, no DVD artwork or anything like that.

Or expanding on your online stream, why not have the WWE have an i-Tunes like website where fans could buy individual matches for a dollar or two, that way they could put them on a DVD on their own.

Either way I think they're really missing the boat on this.

Reason why Big Show lost the WHC is because his contract was coming up and the WWE didn't want it to end with him being WHC. He recently signed a new contract but the WWE is apparently sticking with Del Rio as WHC for now.

Word is the WWE is trying to bring back John Morrison, Shelton Benjamin, MVP and Low-Ki to help build up the mid-card and have more "names" for house shows. Benjamin could be back as early as the Rumble. MVP is still under contract with New Japan. Also Tommy Dreamer and the New Age Outlaws might be in the Rumble match itself.

I'm actually interested in seeing if the WWE would ever take Jeff and/or Matt Hardy back. Both burned a lot of bridges on the way out however they have always sold a ton of merchandise for the company and would be over with the crowds. I think Jeff's contract is getting close to coming up too.

Also when the WWE gives The Rock and CM Punk promo time on the same show as Cena it becomes painfully embarrassing just how bad Cena is on the mike and his gimmick is just targeted to the 8 to 10 year olds in the crowd. Ugh.

It is possible. I remember R-Truth, prior to returning to the 'E, shot on the 'E hard before coming back.

Thing is, the 'E might just take a step back and see how Matt Hardy does in ROH first. If he puts together a great run and become World Champion there, they could make money off of that.

Perhaps but the WWE is also known to hold long grudges and blackball people too. Shooting on the WWE is one thing, making YouTube videos trying to get yourself fired is another. But at the end of the day if the WWE thinks they can make money off of you you'll get another shot.
