I liked some of the players on the seahawks (Browner, Washington, Wilson) but Carrol is such a tool I'm glad they lost. Aqua probably also breathed a sigh of relief.
This happened like 20 years ago and wasn't even that big a deal then. I think it's time to get over it
When Carroll was the DC of the stej back in the 90s he celebrated Stoyanovich missing a FG on the sideline and was caught on camera calling PS a choker and making choking signs with his hands around his throat on camera... After the one that Bryant missed, Carroll was shown on the sidelines to be all pissed off. IMO he wasn't pissed that he called timeout at the wrong time, he was pissed that he called timeout before the ball was close to being snapped and Bryant used the opportunity to practice the long field goal. He was pissed at the refs for letting him kick it anyway. And maybe he wanted a delay of game penalty? I haven't seen what he said after the game.
I may be the only Dolphin fan that actually likes Carroll. Seems like a big kid really. Glad Seattle isn't in the AFC East b/c they look like they will be contenders for years to come. Wait, putting a team on the west coast into a conference on the east is only done in college.

I'm totally past this. Hated Carroll at the time. But, really love to watch the Seahawks. I also think it is football sacrilegious to Ever root for any dome team that plays on turf. I will never root for the Falcons. Ever. Can't abide them. I broke this rule once for the Saints (because of their situation and because of my, at the time, hatred of Peyton and Indy and how everyone was crowning him the greatest ever). But, I despise the Falcons and Matty Ice - and really love the way the Seahawks play football. Very exciting team (even though not a Carroll fan). Hated that they lost to the pet dirty bird.
I used to not like him but can't help to have came around to him, and for that reason really. He not only has made Seattle into a pretty good team, he does seem like a guy just having fun out there and I'm betting his players love him.
Lots of reasons not to like pete...I saw that Jests game live.. classless move for a coach and him bailing on SC in the middle of sanctions he knew were coming and most likely caused...not a fan.
