I hope we do not over pay for Smith or Bush. But between the two, I perfer to get Smith back. Lamar Miller can be special, if he gets up to speed with his pass protection.

I will firmly state it again. Jake Long was offered zippo during the season in regards to a new contract. ZIPPO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which in Latino terms equals NADA for those on the board that do not understand the term " ZIPPO "

Im not as high on Miller as most. He runs like an aging vet trying to squeeze a few more years out if his career instead of a rook looking to make a name for himself. Shys away from contact, checks himself out after a few carries, etc. If Bush walks I hope we bring in someone else to be number 1 and keep Miller as the backup.

Don't know, enlighten all of us if you please. I can see many here have a real hard time with FACT. Lets put it this way. Said player, Long, has perhaps the worst season of his life and the team is going to talk new contract ? Then said player gets injured, and the team offers him a new contract ? Regardless of what your opinion is of other peoples rear ends I will tell you again. THE MIAMI DOLPHINS OFFERED JAKE LONG NOTHING in regards to a new contract, nothing. If you hear otherwise its pure complete utter BULL ****.

I think Long maxes out at 12M per year as far as a long term contract if he tests free agency... who knows how it plays out.

Nobody is going to offer Long even close to that. The man will not be ready to even lift anything substantial until far after the draft and Al Davis is dead so that ends that story.

I think he'll be tagged or signed to some team for $11M-$12M. We shall see what happens; it only takes one team willing to pay what Long wants.
