Much better on a helmet than on the page IMO. Not sure I want that logo still, but it'd be easier to accept now that I've been considering it as an actual alternative for a bit.

 

I do favor that sort of cream color over bright white

 

I went from feeling okay about the logo to actually really liking it.

How about white facemasks though?

Does it bother anyone that people all over the internet and in this latest instance, FinD, can cook up better logos than the one they paid almost a million for?

looking at CANESPHINS sig. That is a little bit too much. But I think of how our whites jerseys always look better in sun from the slight yellowing than they do indoors. Sort of like the SF Giants home jersey. I think that would look good on the helmet too. I critiqued your logo on the last page

The helmets used to be sort of an eggshell creamish type of color. They weren't pure white until the team went to the glitter helmet a few seasons ago.

I cannot believe people dislike the alleged proposed logo so much to the point of bashing it and the team endlessly.... but like those attempts Fin D put up.

 

Exactly. The more I look at our current logo, the more I can't look at it anymore. The more I see our uniforms, the more I don't want to see them anymore.

The more I look at my sig (I love what I did with that photo) and that logo...the more I like it. So much so to the point that I am damn near loving it, and loving what variations of the logo could exist.

I do think the sun should only be the top half, but if they want to keep it whole that is fine as well.

 

I like to see a logo of the head of the Dolphin with a letter M built into it also.

 

And lazer beams, don't forget the friggin lazer beams.

 

Actually, Fin, I'd like to see it with an "M" instead of "Miami."

 

Maybe I'll like that better. I thought the logo was cool, but I didn't like it on the helmet. I don't tend to like letters on the helmet generally though. IMO they look more like the kind of logo you'd have on stationary.

 

Or as I like to call them, the bass boat paint helmets.

I'm sure maybe it's already been mentioned and I haven't been following the entire thread...but am I the only one concerned that this new logo looks a little like...a jet???

After looking at the helmeted pick...its designed to be wrapped like on the curve of the helmet. I wish we could see a back shot of the helmet...because it might have a really slick look at to how the tails look from behind

Well, it IS missing the eye that the logo actually has.

 

Yeh...see...on a curved helmet..the logo doesnt look long...and look how the tail...curves with the back of the helmet...the edge/tip of the fluke...might actually look really cool from behind...

Which if Im correct...theres gonna need to be an alternate logo...for hats and things...as it just doesnt look as good "flattened"....

We may just have some sort of an "M" as an alternate...think...Michigan. They have cool looking helmets....but...you dont see that look really anywhere except for the helmets...

I does look better on the helmet. Doesn't look as much like a whale. Kinda has a 3D effect.

 

When the helmet is on (rotate that helmet about 30 degrees counter clockwise) that Dolphin is gonna look like an Airplane!

It looks like a great revision for the State of Florida "Save Wild Dolphins" License plate not a logo for an NFL football team.
