Marinovich was a case study in how not to force your kid to play football. Turns out he's a gifted artist and I'm happy to oblige his due redemption.

I'll switch it up...What'd you think of the song? Parody of "Goodbye Norma Jean" by Elton John...

Good post although I must mention that Randall Cobb is listed at 5'10". Also, regarding the DT it's not really apples to apples considering we are more of a 4-3 team than a 3-4 like the Pack. I think there is a pretty good chance we will try to shape our OL in the mold you are referring to. This would mean possibly replacing both starting guards (unless they can streamline themselves). Big Jake doesn't fit that mold. Is he an exception? Probably not unless he agrees to a very reasonable contract. Expecting some changes along the offensive front as well then.

garner at best is the 6th o lineman[play anywhere] very handy to have on roster
best position imo guard , for me john jerry could do a similar job next year if we sign a couple of o lineman starters

thigpen was a nice find ,should of been used as a 3rd down back and 3rd receiver more imo
i thought misi played well for 2/3rds of the season in a new position !
burnett was our best all round linebacker
jones was very good ! ,need to find a safety partner
fields is top 5 punter in nfl imo
matthews showed some flashes late on and imo should of been used earlier in season
vernon showed some flashes as well not only on defense but special teams ,
if we dont sign reggie can miler take over reggie`s work load? but i do like miller alot and again under used
    pouncey was a beast !!

Not really sure what to think about Matthews, he had 10 catches over the last five games which would put him right around 30 for the season if he had played in all 16 games. Not bad for a rookie.

-2nd youngest team in the NFL finished 7-9 and had a legit chance for a winning record
-Philbin appears to be the most capable HC we've had since Shula. Like his innovative practices, attention to detail and some aggressive special team fakes, going for it on 4th down, etc.
-we finally took a QB in the 1st round. He's had his ups and downs but there are some things to like. If we can get him some help, he could be good.
-Hartline really has developed into a great route runner and produced even playing in a spot he shouldn't be
-Jones is a stud. He's the 2nd best player on our defense
-Pouncey is everything you want in an OL. Mean, nasty, a leader and very good
-Thigpen is a legit special teams threat IF he can hold onto the ball
-the last draft appears to be one of our better ones. Two immediate starters and 2 guys that have shown flashes that they can develop into playmakers(Miller and Vernon)
-for 6 weeks, we got to feel what it's like to be a team that matters
    -our run defense
    -cameron wake terrorizing QB's
