Alecxih gets contract extension

Seems like this may be an example of keeping what you have and grooming them.

 

Camp body

 

Thank god.

 

Hard to see this being more than a guarantee he starts training camp with the team.

 

If I remember this is the kid with a great character , and a ridiculous body.

 

Good for him. Only because he may just be body for camp, doesn't mean we cant appreciate that the guy has probably worked is *** off.

 

Isn't he the kid that was stranded in the Gulf of Mexico after jumping off his Jet Ski to take a piss?

 

Remember him telling the story of being out on a jet ski and the motor wouldn't start and he drifted way out in the Caribbean somewhere? He said he thought he'd never be found then right before they were going to call off the search for the night, a helicopter spotted him. Something like that anyway.

The craziest thing was why would he feel like he needed to jump into the water to piss? Just piss from the jet ski for chrissakes, it ain't like anyone was around to see his wang anyway.

 

#98 for the Pitt Panthers. I thought you were infatuated with Isaako Aatui...the guy who got cut in the final round, went to the Jets, and was released due to injury like the next day.

 

he was close to a roster spot this year ,instead we kept mcDaniel and his $4m salary and injuries,[shouldnt of ]!! and the emerging randall
i know the guy was not that happy when the jets signed him off our ps earlier in the year and even more unhappy when they cut him over some injury stuff

but we resigned him and he was chuffed "i am going home" he said

he has a real shot at being on the roster next year with starks and mcDaniels are fa ,i can see randall taking mcDaniels spot as #3/4 dt and [h=2]Alecxih taking randalls spot #4/5 dt !!!!![/h]

 

I liked this kid a lot.

 

Yeah that's not the guy I was thinking about, I only was obsessed with his body, I mean, you know what I mean..lol

 

i doubt he ends up being a 'camp body' as some infer IF we let both Starks and McDaniel walk ... our DTs 'could' very much look like Soliai, Odrick, Randall and Alecxih .... what we need is an end to go along with Wake, Vernon and Shelby ... I think Starks is very much worth keeping - but if we could transfer his $$$ over to an impact DE such as Avril -- then seems like a good trade off (especially one that results in an increase in QB pressure/sacks). There are also guys like Werner in the draft.

 

I'm just not excited about the Dolphins signing a player who couldn't make the active roster on this mediocre team. I suspect the Dolphins will draft a couple of defensive lineman in 2013 and Alecxih won't make it out of training camp next year.
