Miami Dolphins New logo/uniforms Thread

The one of the bottem reminds me of the Nuggets

 

I don't see how that is an upgrade at all and I don't see how you can justify a change if it is not an improvement from the previous logos.

 

I see it as an improvement. However I guess that is a personal opinion.

id like to see some personality added to the dolphin, but otherwise it looks cool (bottom one).


I wouldn't mind seeing that mean looking dolphin in that logo with alt colors just for a point of comparison.

 

Of coarse they grew on it, because it was a clear improvement, not a limited simple variation.

 

Denver newer logo is clearly better then their old one. I think the problem was they went to Navy Jerseys. I am glad they were smart enough to realize their identity is Orange and made their orange their primary jersey

I like them both, but especially the top one. That would be far better than any other suggested or rumored new logo.

The sun looks really good on the bottom one. The top one is good.

 

Thank you. They are rough and unsuitable for that yet. There'd need to be a lot of clean up.

It doesn't look AS BAD on the helmet. But still not good in my opinion.

As far as I'm concerned if it' not better than the current logo, which I don't think it is, it doesn't belong.

 

Ok, this one is really, really rough, but its simple, gets Miami in there, the old dolphin but cleaned up, no helmet, and the current sun.

I know it's your design but I'd really like to the the Dolphin in Aqua and the letters in Grey.

This one is really close. Could we see a tweaked version with just the outline of a dolphin? I'm not sure if the letters should be in gray and the dolpin in aqua, or vis versa.

 

Now that's a throwback logo. Very easy on the eyes. Well done.
Unfortunately I doubt they go in that kind of direction.
They will go flashy and senseless.

 

Have you played around with what it looks like intertwining an M behind and through the sun?

 

I cleaned it up. I also put it on a helmet just for ****s and giggles.

I think if you got rid of "Miami" it would be the perfect logo.
I also wonder how it would look if the dolphin was aqua.

That would be great. I have been a vocal fan of using more grey. If I'm being critical I would say I prefer the effect on the dolphin to be more of a matte finish and not glossy. If aqua had to be in the logo I might suggest a thin ring inside the sunburst, something subtle.

That logo as is would look sweet on a t shirt.

Of the ones I've seen so far I'd prefer this one:



Couple reasons: 1) there is no eye, so it de-emphasizes the way the dolphin "feels" (forget about an "angry" dolphin) and places the emphasis instead on what the dolphin is doing, sleekly moving in a streamlined fashion, triggering the perception of speed, which is just as important as "anger" in football; and 2) it integrates navy blue, which is a direction I think the team needs to move so it can have an alternative uniform choice similar to what the Ravens and Eagles have with their black uniforms.

 

Black uniforms are the worst in the NFL. Also we never use our Aqua anyway, no way in hell this team will get Black or Navy jerseys. Miami is not a dark color city. That's why the colors work so well

 

What the new logo would look like on a helmet...

haven't seen this on here and not scrolling through the 5000 posts to see if it is on here. Still, if everything is kept how it is...here is what the logo would look like on a real helmet.
