I cannot be more deadly serious.

Me and my wife have six rescued dogs, 5 rescue cats, 3 rescued turtles and 2 rescued tortoises.

Michael Vick is a piece of ****.

PFT has now reported that Sanchez will be traded, be cut and is staying put. I suppose they've covered all bases so they can "told ya so" in a few months..

There is 0% chance Vick will be a Dolphin. He doesnt want to be a backup and I dont think they are giving up on Tannehill yet

To be fair...people change and grow. You can't judge the entire life of a human being based on a series of bad decisions.

Step further: I think it's hypocritical when anyone who eats meat gets angry at animal cruelty. I don't know what you eat or don't eat....just adding that bit.

You dont believe in 2nd chances??

That is so un-liberal of you my friend....shouldnt we as a society being trying to rehabilitate these scumbags, you know spend aimless amounts of money on programs helping to make thugs into good guys?

Sums up the Jets trouble right there, Sparano as OC of the Jets is a dream for those very, very, few of us who rally, really hate the Jets. Ryan isn't much better, go sign Tebow, then don't run the WildCat, WTF??? Can't decide which is the worse coach; Ryan or Sparano? Tossup?

I am truly loving this. I do feel badly for the Jets fans . . . . NOT!

    I like this thread!

2nd chances? A series of bad decisions?

    Let's reiterate what happened.

Forget dog fighting. Dog fighting is heinous, but cultural. Vick could have been basically born into and not known any better. My issue, is the torture & killing of the 8 dogs we know about.*He found new and different ways to torture and kill those dogs each time. That means he got enjoyment from their suffrage. Think about that. He did what he did with those 8 dogs, not because he was getting rid of bad fighters, he could have done that quicker and easier then the torturous ways he did. No, it was fun to electrocute and drown them for him.

That didn't start with those dogs, that doesn't get corrected by a year of prison and that is indicative of waaaaaay bigger issues. He didn't get caught drunk driving one time, he was busted for the systematic torture and killing of dogs. If he couldn't play football, no one would defend this guy.

Exactly! Vick is a human piece of excrement. He has every right to earn his living in the NFL, but I don't want him on my team. A "mistake" is getting in a car drunk. A "mistake" is getting into a fight. A "mistake" is helping some friends rob a store. Vick's actions were continued and deliberate. Screw him forever.

  14. Earning a living in the NFL is not a right and he isnt entitled to it. He should be banned from playing by Goddell

that definitely beats my 3 rescue dogs, 1 hamster and rescue tortoise (rescued him from the tiny aquarium they had him in 24h/day), but I agree, Vick is a piece of crap that has learned to put on a great face for society. He's staying out of trouble, but money says when he's retired we're going to hear some bad stories about him.

Red footed tortoise. he actually ran away twice (never think tortoises as escape artists, but they are persistent). finally found my rescue dog chewing on my rescued tortoise. spent the whole night trying to stop the bleeding through his carapace. (corn starch was the key)

On the subject of tortoises, I have a Gopher tortoise that I have raised since he was the size of a quarter. He has his own burrough out in the back yard. He's about 12 years old.

what Ben did makes him a bad person and why I'll never respect him, what Vick did (regardless of whether you forgive him or not) was a whole nother level of bad. torturing and murdering dogs is disturbingly bad. people say bad is bad, but the world is not black or white, IMO, it's a lot of shades of grey (and not the kind that gets my wife pumping for tomfoolery).

I'm saying this with zero knowledge of the poophead's rape cases, but yes, torturing and murdering a dog is worse than rape IMO, and that comes from someone with 2 daughters. having said that, anyone, including Big Ben, found guilty of rape should be immediately castrated. not sure there's a more suitable punishment for a crime than that. punishment should fit the crime, it's the one way in which I'm not a liberal. Vick should have been tortured and beaten, then maybe he can understand the horror of his deeds.

have 2 daughters, a son, and 6 animals. Completely disagree. Of course as humans it is our responsibility to take care of the animals we domesticated. That aside the emotional scars of rape that is left on the HUMAN victim is a much worse offense, imo

    He's a piece of **** as well.

I talk about Vick more because he's talked about more.

Let's be honest though, Vick raped the Falcons and the Eagles.

Seriously, rape to me, on some levels is worse than murder. At least with murder the pain is over for the immediate victim...with rape it is everlasting and affects all the victim's relationships in the future.

    Cherry head?

I think red foots are favorite. One of my dogs got a hold of one of my sulcatas, put a tiny hole in the shell, she's fine. In five years my sulcatas will have to kept from the the dogs, so they don't hurt the dogs. Sulcatas are leg breakers.

My back yard is fenced in. He does roam the yard from time to time eating grass and stretching his legs.
He loves red leaf lettuce with a side of grapes. The picture below is about 5 years old. He's a bit larger now.

I went to Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa a few months ago and we got a behind the scenes tour.

I got to go in with their Aldabra's (Aldabra's are slightly smaller then Galapagos, for those that don't know), and all he wanted to is have is head and neck scratched. It was amazing.
