I didn't say you were wrong for liking the logo. Do you understand that or do not?

I said that the logo is poor from a craftsmanship standpoint (something you've yet refute) and that you basically like the logo because it came first and not for any artistic merit. To prove that, I asked you to explain your like of the logo in meaningful way and instead you herped and derped your way through it.

 

FinD, if I give you a task to come up with a design for something, can you do that for me?

A) it has to be for free
B) I guarantee that it will be seen by plenty of people, and by some influential ones that can get you more work if they like it.

He talks about the one that is going around that is very popular, the one with the blue sun here, but none of them are the new logo.

 

I highly doubt Omar is in the meetings for these things. He is completely talking out of his ***. No way the Dolphins give hack writers like Omar access to those things...

 

Huh? His logo looks much cleaner. The leaked one, in addition to the color scheme being off, doesn't flow at all.

oh I agree 100%. He thinks this leak is just like every other leak, when its not. No logo has been "leaked" and said it was the new logo like this one. There is a reason this logo is getting so much attention.

If I went out and said this logo
was the official leaked logo, and people believed it and everything, Mike Dee would have debunked the rumors right away.

 

Has it really gotten to a point where people cant follow the terms of service in a logo thread? If your comment is rude or insulting either dont post it, put the person on ignore or both.

That is the thing, Omar keeps making statements but isn't in the know. Ben Volin is schooling him left and right on this subject. Ben saw the drawings and stated months ago that the logo looked similar to the stadium logo. This leaked logo sure does look similar in ways.

Omar is one of those guys who will fight to the bitter end, even though he knows he is wrong. He won't ever back away from a statement and say my bad. He will die on that statement if he must.

He will rot on these statements regarding the logo.

 

Lets just make it Don Shula's chin combined with Jimmy Johnson's hair with Dave Wannstedt's mustache while holding a Lil' Debbie snack cake and fist pumping and be done with it.

 

THIS logo is SICKK! i wish this was the one - i am not feeling the "leaked" one.

One thing is clear, there are two camps on this subject. One who want the old logo back and people who want a new logo. Can a house divided still stand? Or will there be a civil war on this site?

It's more than that. I think there's a lot of people who'd like a new logo, just not the proposed one. Put me in that "camp."

I didn't do that. I said you didn't explain it in the way I asked you to. Because you didn't, that lead to me to believe you like it for the reasons rafael put out there. On the other hand, you've told me, that my opinion was wrong, even though the part I'm talking about is not subjective. You did that for no other reason than it was me that was saying it. If MrClean was a paint and body guy and told you that some paint job was done poorly from a craftsmanship standpoint, you'd agree with him.

No again! I said why I currently like the old logo. There is nothing you can say to throw that out. I did not say I liked it because of its history so again, you're wrong. Simple as it gets.
