I'd take Byrd over any safety in the NFL.

 

IMO, the most glaring snub in the entire league is Jairus Byrd.

 

Saturday is NFC, so whether he goes or not has no bearing on Mike Pouncey possibly being an alternate.

 

Is that quote from Clark Judge? He is showing his ignorance on the Pounceys if so. Maurkice is not Mike's big brother. They're twins and Mike popped out of the chute first.

I definitely agree. The fact that he isn't in us probably the biggest mistake.

 

My 2009 mock draft for the Dolphins that year, when we did the draft here on the forum was Barwin in the 1st and Byrd with our first 2nd round pick. Turned out Byrd was gone before our 2nd round pick and Barwin was still on the board when we took White.

 

I call BS on those blaming players and coaches votes.

We have an empty stadium on Sundays. We do not support the team as much as other fantasies.

I know KC fans and that town is dedicated. Even when they suck they have more loyal fan support than we do, so that's why they get guys into the Pro Bowl.

If you want to gripe about whose fault it is that our best players are not recognized, well, it's our fault. The fans.

How many times did we vote? How many of our friends voted? How many fans give a crap about this team right now?

 

Wade Smith makes the Pro Bowl. It breaks my heart.

 

If Fields led the fan voting then it was the 2/3 of the vote that is supposed to be the most informed (coaches & players) that voted him out......unbelievable.

 

That is a joke.....and it seems to show some kind of bias against the Dolphins.

Bpk, the fan vote (no matter how many votes you get) is only 1/3 of the vote. The other 2/3 of the vote comes from players & coaches. Their 2/3 choice always will outweigh whatever the fans vote if they are the same and the fans vote another way.

Fields led the fan voting. It wasn't enough to carry him if the coaches & players vote for another guy.

 

It kinda says something that we have beef over our punter being snubbed, doesn't it?

 

One punter to rule them all, and in the darkness bind them.

PFF released their roster. No Jones though they said they would have put him on if they had room for a third safety. Surprisingly they had Burnett on the list though.

 

He is not going to ask a Kings ransom and realizes the position he is in. Nobody is going to dump money on him until he is completely rehabbed and that is not going to happen until after the draft. He likes Miami, he likes he teammates and Long will be a Dolphin in 2013 and its not going to cost 15 million for it to happen.
