not really. All he has to say is "the logo floating around is not our new logo, I'll provide an update soon! Happy holidays to all. Be safe!" either way hes gonna get tweets from people asking to see the new logo

I agree. The context of the tweet seems to imply there may be some legitimacy here which is a shame because I've definitely seen better mocked up.

 

Did anyone expect Ross and Co. to do anything other than **** this up?

Those are really not bad.

 

The bottom one is better than the top one. But I really can't get past the position of the dolphin.
It's just not right. It's not the Miami Dolphins.

 

If he says its a fake, he is going to get every dolphins fan on twitter saying if you're willing to say that's a fake then show us the real one. Saying nothing keeps the tweets about the same if you ask me....

 

I like it actually. Would like to see a silver/gray helmet. Not a fan of plain white helmet

 

I'd be willing to bet that this is it. I also think there should be less blue. I like the other logo better though.


God please let them put a helmet on it to piss people off

 

not if he says he cant say anything other then that the logo out there is fake... He dont have to show the real one and people wouldnt expect him to post it on twitter...

I tend to agree.
I think this, or something very similar will end up being thew new logo.
I'd think they would want to squash the rumor if this was a fake.

Lol, at people saying the cleaned up version is better, no it's worse. But I guess people are entitled to their own opinion. The helmet mock is even worse, it's completely off center and I can't get over the pose the Dolphin is in.

I would 100% stay with the current logo if that monstrosity is the alternative.

 

Ad a gray or black mask.

It's so easy.
Who knows how much money Ross has wasted on this new logo/uniform design, all the while the best design was right under his nose.
Ross may be a genius outside of the football world, but inside it, he leaves alot to be desired.

 

Hopefully, that's what Muck was referring to in his post about the jerseys being "retro". I could see a logo change with the jerseys looking like this. Especially since recent changes - Chargers, Colts, Giants, Jets, and 49ers, have all incorporated a retro look. Even the Bills mixed a retro look with a new uniform. Only Seattle's has been a drastic change.

 

Those uniforms would help take some of the stench off that new logo.

My Lord, every time I see that uniform/helmet it takes my breath away.

As someone who likes this supposed new logo, I think it is very likely it would look very similar on the field with the return of the white in the middle of the logo. Just a thought, but I think we are all going to end up being extremely happy with what we end up with.

Also, for the record, and not to be argumentative, but I really hate the mock that everyone seems to love. It is just far too arena league for me and I'm pretty sure that logo would be out of date in five years.

But that is just my opinion, it is no more or less valid than any other thoughts. I have no desire to start a war Christmas Eve night!

 

On twitter? They wont expect him? Come on Jt. You and I might not ask him or tell him to but there are tons of people who would just because they can.

Not to me. Yes, people are going to ask regardless but if he says anything more than what he's been saying some people are going to take it like they think he might crack and spill some beans.

I have to say it is growing on me. Didn't like it when I first saw it. Still don't like the navy. Yet I am kinda digging the logo.

 

I thought I liked that one as well, but I like the full logo on the helmet the more I see it.

 

I think we need quetzalcoatl coming out of the dolphins mouth.

 

Good news for people who dont like it... When things are likely to happen in the dolphins organization, things seem to fall apart, ie, Dolphins likely to get Brees, Dolphins likely to get Harbaugh, Dolphins likely to get Manning, Dolphins likely to get Flynn... ect... so with this likely being the new logo, it will turn out not to be
