Of all the logo and uniforms mocks out there....

From what I read it was real, but was basically a prototype. I'm sure Nike screws around with different looks to see how they may pop.

While the team continues to be mediocre, same as the past 10 years or so, I guess they hope the excitement of some spiffy snazzy new uniforms can help deflect attention from what really matters. The product on the field. The team will likely continue along in the 5-11/7-9 merry go round, but at least they'll look all cool and more flashy while doing so.

 

My guess is that Dee's "update" won't come until the season ends, and will probably only say something like "we have a big event planned for the unveiling".

I guess they figured they needed to do something to get a little buzz in the air. Count me as one that hopes that this isn't a Nike short-attention-span nightmare, although I do welcome the change from a logo and jersey that for me has come to represent a lost era of football.

 

Does Mike Dee's job have anything to do with the actual product on the field though? Stadium issues, getting Superbowls, and logos/uniforms seem to be his part of the business.

 

They must fix the team before they work on a logo or stadium or celebrity owners. Didn't you hear, there are only 3 people other than the coaches and they are spending valuable time on logos when they should be spending it on Brandon Marshall's shrine.
