    Vernon is amazing. Sad thing is, even if they had held them at the 20 and made that a 35 harder at least, then Vernon could have gotten in the way.

    But that close, the kicker just kicks straight up over everyone easily.

    Our needs remain the same, with a few additions.

    - Our offensive line is still a ****ing trainwreck. We need two guards and maybe a right tackle, depending on what happens with Jake Long in the offseason.

    - Need SPEED at receiver.

    - Need a running back, depending on Reggie Bush.

    - Need a middle linebacker. I think Koa Misi could play there. If that is the case we need one, maybe two outside linebackers.

    - Need an edge rusher.

    - Need one, maybe two starting corners depending on Sean Smith.

    That is a LOT of needs at a LOT of key positions for a team that has essentially been rebuilding for 5 years.

    You cannot beat yourself constantly then expect to win

    If I were Philbin, I'd make it a habit to chat with the Don and absolutely pick his brain for approaches to players and how to deal with guy who are talented but choke.
