I watched some of the game yesterday and you guys definitely seemed to be struggling, which was odd considering how well the season started for you. The Dolphins have 10 days to prep for the Seahawks and we have a bye this week. If this game were in Seattle I’d be much more optimistic but we’ve been struggling on the road and we’re historically mediocre to bad after bye weeks. I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the upcoming game. On a side note, I tried to post a couple of times using Tapatalk but the posts kept disappearing. Anyway, good luck and down with Jeff Ireland!
Welcome aboard! And yeah, it wasn't an easy first 3 quarters to watch last nite, nor the last 2 mins. The 'hawks are my 2nd fav team. Go easy on us, will ya! =)
Yea I like the Seahawks second best too. Hopefully we win or it's atleast a good game so I don't have to hate them.
The emo dolfans posting here so far make me SICK (ironically). Let me tell you something Sehawk fan. First of all, thanks for coming in with some god damn respect. Some fans (jets/bills) think they can come in here and own the damn place (considering they have to literally fight an actual respected member here to FINALLY be banned, it's kinda true)....so thanks. 2. This game will be interesting. We have some young bucks. We are coming off 2 HORRENDOUS weeks of football where we look/smell/taste/and are being talked about like s-h-i-t. We can do 1 of 2 things. A. Lose again, miserably. 2. Win. and Win handedly. Either one will happen this week. I am not expecting a close game, although most of our loses (like usual, amirite dolfans?) are by 3 points or less. This game "feels" different. You guys will either come in over confident and we will have 10 days to build a sweet game plan where we look lie geniuses. Or you will come in and destroy us. Either way, I will see you in 10 days, and I will be drunk.....like I am right now. God bless (I don't believe in god)...and have a good weekend.
That franchise understands the importance of a real home field advantage, they designed their fu&$ing stadium to channel noise, ( and are reaping the benefits) so im sure they understand the science of it, as well as its impact.
Should be a good game, now that the Miami fanbase has had it's heart broken and for the most part given up on them till next year -they will have one of their better games against the Seahawks. Not saying they will win but for the 35,000 people there it will be entertaining.
Man, Matt Flynn was all kinds of butt hurt when Russell Wilson won the starting job. Reports said he was rather upset for a couple of weeks. But honestly, Flynn looks good, and I'm convinced he's a starting QB in the NFL, just not right now. I'm glad to have him as a backup for this year but he won't be here next season. I fully expect him to get traded to a team like KC or the JETS in the off season. His contract is actually VERY reasonable and I'm thinking that there's a team or two out there that will send us a 2nd round pick or a package of picks to acquire his services. I kinda feel bad for him though, he deserves a shot, he's paid his dues.
Literally! I'm a CFL fan and really like Brandon Browner's game, imo he and Wake and Thigpen are sort of the new wave of CFL to NFL all pro types. Seattle is a solid, solid team. As an aside my BC Lions are in the WDF..can't wait!
No aqua and orange colored glasses here ... we stink ... we stink bad ... and when all is said and done the stench will reach epic proportions. Don't waste your time watching this game. It'll even be painful for even the Hawk's fans to watch the Fins lower the standards of the NFL
The light might go on and our streak of suckhood might end against you guys. Anything is possible in the NFL.
Hawks fan here as well. Funny that a lot of hawks fans I know also like the dolphins, and seems like a lot of dolphins fans out there also seem to like Seattle. Kind of weird. Growing up, Marino was my favorite player. I rooted for the hawks, but was always watching the dolphins play too. Those years where buffalo was so dominant were painful. But I remember being excited to see the dolphins so often on monday night football. Even as a kid who didn't really understand the entire game, it was impressive to watch Marino throw the ball around. Anyhow, the Dolphins have a good chance in this game for a couple reasons, mainly that the Seahawks don't usually play very well on the Road on 10 AM PST starts, and the Seahawks seem to usually play close games. The key for Miami is going to be stopping Lynch; that much is obvious, but he's especially a factor on the road where we like to shorten the game. It seems like the way the Seahawks play this year, the idea is to be in the game at the very end with a chance to win. When the season started and we got a few games in, it looked like our defense would be elite. They've been good but not in that elite category. They give up some yards underneath, with young linebackers who can get caught out of position on things like screens, short slants in the middle, etc. . .a short passing game with YAC yards seems to be the key to solving this defense. They've also been suspect to the run against good running backs. I could see Bush being a factor out of the backfield and he could have the kinds of explosive plays that keep Miami in the game. Unfortunately Seattle plays well against sub-par QB's, and although Tannehill has showed promise, I'm not sure he's up to the challenge of facing what a lot of hawks fans, and even nfl experts believe is the best secondary in the league. While eveyrone may not agree that they are 'the best', they will all agree they are the most physical, with a 6'4" and 6'3" CB tandem. Richard Sherman has gotten most of his notoriety lately for being a 'trash talker' but really he's just having fun playing the game and is proving to be a pretty effective shut-down corner in his second year. I could really see this game going either way. I'm hoping the Seahawks can get past their 10 AM road game woes and play on the level we've seen them play the last few weeks, but i wouldn't be surprised to see this be a game well into the 4th quarter.
I would say our twelfth man makes just as must impact as the Seahawk's twelfth man...only ours impacts us in a negative way.
We won't run on you. You might run on us. You will win by 10+. Hope you guys enjoy the game. I love the story coming out of Seattle. You guys really support your team which I envy. I would kill to have half of your crowd in Miami gear. Anyways, good luck. Went to Seattle for the first time over the summer. The weather and your city are absolutely gorgeous.
At this rate, there will be 12 people in the stands. Or at least 12 men, and maybe five or six ladies. Looking forward to this game, though. The QB I wanted (Tannehill) vs. the QB I wanted if we didn't get Tannehill (Wilson).
Man...i kinda wanted to subtly smack talk you guys but you're all proving to be really nice. It makes smack talk tricky.
Welcome friend. I love Seattle. I visited there during the Grunge era and played my first game of golf on Bainbridge Island. I had my first Starbucks coffee there. Anyways, great city, people and teams.
Been going to the same bar for nearly eight years in Redmond. I am thinking of just staying home on Sunday

I hope you're not saying that our kindness as a whole is burdening your conscience after intentions of being a troll.
Those aren't tears, SackedHawk. There, is that better? Now you're officially welcome to smack talk me. lol.
I am still pissed the gameis in Miami. It was supposed to be here in Seattle but Goodell SUCKS and the NFL hatesdolphins fans
Welcome, Seahawk fans. The key from our persepctive is making Russel Wilson beat us. He's just not the same player on the road so if we need to shut down Lynch and make him beat us with his arm. Your defense is very good. I really like your secondary and I wanted Earl Thomas badly in that draft. Browner and Sherman are probably a top 5 CB tandem out there. The player in our pass game I think could give you the most trouble is Davone Bess. Your corners are big dudes and Bess usually feasts on those kind of corners. Even though I hope we destroy you guys, I think it will be a good game. We are a prideful group so I think we're aching to get back on the field after a 10 day lay off and prove that the last few games aren't who we really are. Good luck, guys.
Me too. I have been waiting for 4 years to see the Dolphins in Seattle, then nope. The game is in Miami.
The NFL hates Dolphins fans...by NOT scheduling this game in the hardest stadium in the NFL to play in? I don't understand your logic.
You know the saying, "If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"...... well I wonder if the same holds true for a loss and an empty stadium. lol.
Because they changed the rules so the thousands of Dolphins fans that live here in the GNW who have waited for 8 fart knockin years to see the team live again and maybe, just maybe, wash out the taste of a Feely pick six as we are driving down the field to win the game out of their souls with a with a Reggie Bush ankle breaker 60 yd TD scamper and a Davone Bess highlight real TD catch to take the lead in the last minute followed by a Wake Shake forced fumble recovery to ice the game. Im a Dolphins fan...don't tell me to be logical.
