You got me there. I'm digging his channel. It's the first YouTube channel I've actually subscribed to. The guns are cool and the guy is pretty comical. I just keep wondering how he's getting his hands on all these guns? I'm guessing he's making some decent money from the channel through ads and maybe knows someone who has a gun dealership? Do you guys know anymore details on this character?
I'll save you the trouble LOL.
Already saw the White Castle video. This one is my favorite so far - It's a perfect example of the question I was asking. Where does he get the money for this stuff? Maybe it's funnier not knowing.
Its gotten to the point where the manufacturers are using him and his channel to market their products - I think.
Soooo anyone got it? Picked up my copy today. PLayed for a few hours. As usual with treyarch, the game has a bunch of launch bugs/lag. They'll fix it soon though, I'm sure. However, it's been kind of fun so far. I haven't gotten to try too many guns yet. Can't really say much other than it doesn't strike me as bad. Maps seem alright. Probably better than MW3 (not too hard). Not better than MW1 or MW2. MW1 gun on gun gameplay still reigns supreme. Maps still hold up. MW2 for all the **** it got, was so much ****ing fun (gun balance, killstreaks, maps).
Campaign is a mother ****ing disgrace as per usual for CoD games. Multiplayer seems more like MW3 than Black Ops 1. Which isn't good. Still better than MW3 though. Pick 10 system is kinda cool and provides a lot of flexibility. I hate the gun leveling up bull****. I'm just shocked and dismayed at some of the stuff they chose to copy over from MW3.
MW2 or BO are probably my favorite of the COD series... I'd lean towards MW2 because I love their maps.
I bought Black Ops II last night as an impulse purchase. I regretted it by the second single player level. This might be the worst single player campaign ever.
It's so bad. At this point they should just do away with the campaigns and make it a multiplayer only game. I played the first level and I don't know if I'll play 1 second more. It will depend on if I need to finish it to unlock any zombie maps...
About 4 levels in they make you do an RTS-like minigame where you control units to defend a base. I knew it was going to be trouble the second they dropped you into a tutorial, and upon playing it, yes, it was likely the worst level I have ever played in an FPS game. It's so bad I might just delete the game out of principle and try to get a refund from Steam.
I think they should go back to their WW2 roots. Treyarch has pretty much f'd up the campaigns. And MW3 was a bloody joke of a game.
He is a character of FPS Kyle who is in with Woodysgamertag who is one of the biggest youtubers out there.
They crapped all over World War II. As for the campaigns… I just beat this. Didn't do the optional stuff, just plowed through it. It's possibly the worst written CoD game ever at a minimum, likely one of the worst FPS "stories" ever. The bad guy is the planning god and always has a convenient deus ex machina ready to go. When the writers couldn't think of another impossible situation to make him overlord, they went with flashback levels full of gratuitous violence, just because things were "grittier back then". This might be the most insulting game I've ever played.
No they didn't. CoD was revolutionary when it first came. And remember that the first two games didn't have any story, so to say. As for the 'gritty' stuff, this is one area I'd give a hats off to World at War. WW2 is still underdeveloped topic. Everyone's propped it, yet no one's achieved it. And yes, there was no doubt in my mind that this would be a crass game, in terms of SP. The developers have lost the touch, and too busy bringing out yearly installments, to focus on the story. I nearly barfed after playing MW3.
What's also insulting are companies like IGN giving this campaign positive reviews. How could anyone assign a positive review to a CoD campaign? How could any self-respecting gamer enjoy a CoD campaign? Is it the "Whoa, cool graphics BRAH!" cut scenes? Have they never played a decent single player game before? Anyway, that's all for my crapping on the campaign. I'll probably never spend another minute on a CoD campaign. BUT...I'm really warming up to the multiplayer. Pick 10 system is great. Wildcards are great. The Overkill wildcard is a game changer.
What does that have to do with Treyarch? Infinity Ward made the first four Call of Duty games. My theory: advertising money. But yeah, the campaign is awful.
What does this have to do with the post you quoted earlier? You said they--which seemed to imply Treyarch--should go back to making WW2 CoDs. I said those games weren't any good either.
By that, I meant that the franchise as a whole. And that includes the people in Activision as well. A scenario only CoD, a lá CoD2, would fare much better even with treyarch on the helm.
It's really all a matter of opinion. I know there are a lot of people who feel like you do. But a lot of people, like me, think that treyarch, specifically Black Ops is a much better multiplayer experience than the Modern Warfare games. I honestly don't understand how anyone could conclude that MW3 is better multiplayer than Black Ops. MW2, I can understand. I don't agree, but I can understand. It's still early but Black Ops II multiplayer is miles and miles ahead of what MW3 was. Better maps, better hit detection, better class customization, better kill streaks, better guns, better everything. I can't think of one area where MW3 wins out. Anything that was even remotely positive about MW3 has been carried forward to Black Ops II like Kill Confirmed.
To add, trying to determine whether Treyarch or IW does a better CoD campaign is like trying to decide if you would rather have a hand full of cat **** or dog ****.
I actually enjoyed MW2's campaign. CoD dispensed with the notion that it was in any way grounded in reality and just threw a bunch of over the top crap at you. The honesty was refreshing.
yeah that protect the base by controlling units above level is brutal. I mean i'd rather go back to the level where you ride around on horses and try to take down tanks. The multiplayer seems okay... i've only played for roughly an hour though and have not yet seen all the maps in FFA (or the newbie zone levels). I do like the 2025 levels so far in the campaign. There's some good stuff there, invis suits and emp grenades.
BiA threw it in with CoD, when they introduced health regeneration. But yes, its still ahead of the latter in terms of an actual story. Is there any sequel to Hell's Highway? I heard they were developing one centered around the Ardennes offensive.
No. They canceled it and they're now making an over the top WW2 game like Inglorious Basterds called BiA: Furious 4
I'll agree with u on MW3 being a **** bucket in front of Black Ops. And nt just the MP. Quite truthfully, I like my MP games simple. Something like CS.
Counter Strike. Its one of the most fave MP games here. Believe it or not, its the only source of mass entertainment out where I am. If u can call 5vs5 games mass entertainment.
Ah, more PC gaming. If I had the time and money I'd invest in a PC so I could play some of these games.
I don't know what DMC stands for either. Yeah, I'm stuck with consoles. I'm a Mac guy and don't have the $$$ to purchase a PC for gaming only. For the time I have to devote to gaming as a newly minted father, consoles do the trick. I would like to give PC gaming a spin someday though... N/M I'm guessing abbreviation is Devil May Cry?
Correct. Relatively new Macs are pretty capable of playing games, especially now that OS X is seeing more and better releases. Borderlands 2 is about to come out for OS X, for instance.
