No, but this team certainly isn't as good as some have made it out to be.

We're bad, perhaps not as bad as the scoreline shows, but this team is not good.

As i said in another post, i don't know why everyone is so surprised/outraged about today. This team throughout the year has shown flashes of being the garbage we are seeing now. They showed it in the close loses, in the close wins, and in every part of the team.

You can camouflage garbage so is not easily noticeable, but the smell remains, and on closer inspection, the mirage turns into sand.

I don't think we're as bad as we looked today. But I do think we're only as good as our record says we are and our record says we're a sub .500 team.

We're an average team that has a rookie QB and HC.

This was a historically bad loss that no one saw coming. Throw this one away and don't look back.

This team continues to be what it has been since 2009. A team that is very mediocre and can on occasion beat the other mediocre teams on their schedule. They are a team with little overall talent and they really haven't shown any ability to come back and win games, if they fall behind early. They will be lucky to match their record of 6-10 last year. As long as Ireland remains the GM, they will continue to remain in the bottom tier of NFL teams.

After the Bills blow them out this coming Thursday, I suspect there will be a lot more calls to replace Ireland immediately.

No. I don't think we are as bad as we were today. We were awful, and everything that coulda gone wrong, went wrong.

That being said, we're not as good as everyone thought either. Playoffs?!? Playoffs?!?! This team never had a shot in hell IMO.

I worry that Over is the safe bet against the Pats in a few weeks when it comes to 50 points, and 500 passing yards for NE.

We'll see what this team really is now when we play NE, Seattle, and SF in the next few weeks.

Didn't the board say that last week?

We're ****ing terrible. QB is a rookie, RB's are average, WR's are below average, TE is average, Oline is average, DL is pretty good (pass rush is average, even with the Cracken), LB's are average, DB's are below average, kicker is average, Punter is legit.

We beat some bad teams and we were fooled into thinking we were good. We're not.

I voted yes but I wouldn't say as BAD as they played today, which was 2007 levels of awful....mediocre is more like it.

I voted yes because of the playoff talk that existed. This team is sitting home in January. We were way too overrated by fans after beating the Raiders, Jets and Rams. aka other last place caliber teams.

The team just fell apart after the first Bush fumble. That was bad enough, but it was also a mistake to bench Bush for the remainder of the half.

That is the one opening for Ireland's firing I could see, is a blowout loss Thursday night. However I still think Ross is under some spell of Ireland. Ireland is in his ear all the time telling him its not his fault, that he drafts great talent, but the coaching falls short. He probably has already thrown Philbin under the bus in a chat with Ross.

I disagree....in 2007 we lost 6 games by 3 or less points. That team could have been 7-9 actually.

We only lost like this to the Patriots that year from what I remember.

If that is the case. Hopefully someone else Ross will listen to, is willing to tell him that Ireland IS at fault and needs to be fired. Ross made over a billion dollars because he is suppose to be smart. Hopefully he isn't dumb enough to listen to Ireland and allow Ireland to remain the teams GM much longer.

I'm tired of average. I want playoff good and I won't settle for less any longer. Fire whomever they need to and rebuild this team into a winner. What they have been doing for the last four years isn't working.

A lil below avg tbh, we are not as bad as we played today, but we are not as good as we looked earlier either.

It's all about Tannehill, his poor play today is disconcerting.

I wouldn't worry about Tannehill. If he doesn't work out were right in line to pick up the next A&M QB.

Why would his bad play be disconcerting?

Hes a rookie QB. Rookie QB's have bad games.....been that way since the NFL was born.

The only problem is that put Notre Dame closer to getting into the NC game.

We have to wish Barkley goes nuts that night and ends the Irish dreams.

The question is, who do we take with the top ten pick we will have in the 2013 draft? Any suggestions? Just remember we have big needs at WR, TE, the secondary, pass rusher, and the OL. The RB position looks like it might need an upgrade too.

So if the Dolphins have the 7th or 8th pick in the draft, which I think they will. Who should they take?

I'd rather have to hope Barkley can pull it off than deal with the certainty that Bama would be #1.

It should be a WR we need a playmaker bigger than just about anything else. But if Ireland is here, get ready to hear the name of the biggest OL from some Big 10 or Big 12 school.

If Ireland is still here, I doubt if I will still care who the Dolphins draft. After being a fan since 1966, I just can't accept that Ireland will still be selecting players for the Dolphins when this season is over.

I agree and I have been a fan since then too. I was born in this city 52 years ago and have lived every game of the Dolphins. If Ireland is here I may finally be rooting for another team.

I can't believe I just wrote that but I'm that depressed right now.

That's what I am thinking. Maybe something happened during the week, and it wasn't reported in the media. That was the final straw and Philbin put his foot down.
