Just another example of someone who should've never quit their day job.

Also an example of an unfortunate passing. Sad to hear, she was only 57.

My cousin attended college in New York. One day she was on campus speaking to a friend when one of her professors sat at a nearby park bench, offered a "hello," to both girls. After acknolwedging him, my cousin and her friend kept talking and a minute later, the prof. says, "Well, here I go..." and then proceeds to drop dead of a massive stroke.

Very creepy. I don't know why, but this story reminded me of that.

I actually don't think Pete was trying to be funny. There have actually been studies about this where people who retire die within a year of quitting their jobs. A customer of mine was 45, healthy as can be, retired early and died six months later of "natural causes."

Knowing Pete, I don't think he was making fun of this lady.

That's a pretty scary but interesting study. Could it be the reason they have you working in your later years and not being able to retire unless your a professional athlete? (no humor intended).

Dude, I DO NOT need to know this.

this type of thing makes me so sad and sick. My dad's neighbor (retired couple)built their dream house on the water, few months later, the wife gets cancer and losses one of those terrible, short, 2-3 month battles. just so unfair.

if i dont get some "us time" with the wife in the end, im gonna be super pissed.
