Well played. If it's not a blowout, or if we lose, then you're just a homer hating on the Jets and no one remembers it. If it is a blowout everyone tells you you're right and strokes your precious ego.

 

Yeah, I have to say I didnt think it was possible and this thread was a bunch of hot air....hats off to Shour....I stand corrected.

 

If that was his plan then I doubt he would have taken the time to bring detailed reasoning and statistics into it. He didn't bump the thread with an "I Told You So" either.

Ok, I was wrong...team responded much better than I thought they would. Philbin has this team prepared at just about every angle and phase of the game. Losing Tanny in the first quarter would have previous versions of the Fins folding...but not this group.

On the other hand, it's pretty bad that the jests didn't respond well in this game...I guess the "stirring the trash talking" thing up didn't work all that well for Rexy... I'll bet he'll really feel some heat now... How much longer do they stick with Sanchette ?? Is Tebow any better ??

Hope Tanny is ok for next week, but glad we didn't trade MMoore away either...

Congrats on being correct. I thought it would be a close game. Turns out...you hit the nail on the head.

 

The only factor that could have prevented the blowout is the division rivalry. We are a far better team. We ended last season better, and the Jets have made moves to destroy themselves since. They have devolved every year under Rex into what is now an awful team. Avg or worse on D, and horrific on O.

We could have seen 45-3 with better officiating. The Bess fwd progress call, non PI calls, Sanchez fumble on the 1 sack. It was a joke.
