I'd say I'd feel bad for Rexxy for going from Schotty to Sparano, but eff him. He picked them. He's a Jet. He's an *******. I just want him to cry again at his next PC.
To be fair the Jets won playoff games with Sanchez. Something i would love to see no matter who is our QB...
Normally I'd agree with you here but what he has done has been absolutely atrocious. Have never seen an offense have such a lack of rhythm in my life.
Besides completely enjoying the game one of the bobble heads mentioned that Jest Rb's have caught very few passes this year, which is exactly what happened in Miami, for whatever reason Sparano just does not target Rb's in the passing game. Protection duty maybe? Whatever the reason that makes little sense.
none of this will matter if we get swept by them...... missed FG or not the first go round....can not afford to lose again to them.
Exactly, Jest looked good vs the patriots, and this being intradivisional we have to win it to keep pace with NE.
To me it's comical that Sparano's over there calling plays, I think he and Ireland made a deal to sabotage the Jets, and to top it all off I often see Henning on the sideline but he's not listed as a coach on their site. Mission accomplished.
I watched this game with a large group of people. When they recovered that fumble, I declared it was Tebow time and they'd bumble their way to a FG attempt. Then Sparano provided the entertainment and punchline. Everybody cracked up as they learned we know all too well. Zebras can't completely change their stripes. Tony and his staccato approach to offensive continuity and game flow went with him to New York. Personally I hope Woody Johnson gives them another year after this one. - sent from my Android device via Tapatalk -
This imminent Sparano debacle in NY brings me back to the Hard Knocks scene with Braylon Edwards where Ireland chuckled at the thought of calling a rival team for a reference, except in Mike Tannenbaum's case he picked up the phone, and Miami was happy to oblige with a glowing endorsement.
Eerily familiar. As for the sighting of Henning along their sideline? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlVMcrrLEOY
The announcers of that game kept talking about how Sparano was the architect of the WC, but in reality that was David Lee, not Sparano. If anything, I do see them afraid to use the WC extensively. One thing about the WC, it can work and should work better with Tebow running it (vs Ronnie Brown) because of the throwing threat....but as long as the jests don't wake up this week, it's fine with me...although they did ressurect themselves somewhat against the pasties...
I was looking at a replay of the first Jets game when Sanchez gets intercepted in the red zone and Sparano gets furious, and then I thought no field goal for you HAHA. On another note I don't remember sparano ever getting angry on the sidelines.
I've been saying this since the beginning of the season, and after watching all the jet games, not only does he have no clue how to use the skillset of tebow, I don't think he knows how to design passing plays from the wildcat...certainly not on the level of McCoy in Denver..he's not running any of the zone read stuff that tebow did in college.
It obvious someone does not watch football,Sanchez also lost alot of his talent including his favorite target. But hey i still hate him just for being a a jet
The irony of having Morano with the jests is fukin awesome!!! I almost feel like we passed on a nasty STD to the jests...hhahaha!!!
I can think of no better pleasure that watching Ryan and Sparano to go down in flames which I truly expect at the end of this season.
If he'd gone to anyone other than the Jets or the Pats we could wish him well. As it is, we are forced to pile on the steaming hot s*** on top of his having been fired. The guy can't win for losing.
I disagree. Obviously the players play a huge role but when you analyze Sparano you see he's less mentally capable than a box of rocks. If it looks, talks and coaches like an idiot....it's an idiot.
I remember saying to my brother that the Sparano hiring would lead to Rex Ryan getting fired.....then they picked up Tebow....somehow it just seems sad and inevitable at this point.
