Bryant Johnson WR from the Cardinals all the way. He could be a number one for us and a great compliment to Ted. No way in hell does Bob Sanders hit the open market, the Colts do not have a D without him. Him and Jason Allen would be a great tandem though. DeAngelo Hall may be a possibility but with a new coach coming to Atlanta I doubt it.
I like Trufant's chances of getting free over Asomugha's. And I'm not all about Sanders, personally I prefer Wilson. I do know Sanders' is better, but Wilson is cheaper and though has his share of injuries, he still plays more.
in that case, i think they let go sanders because of their past history with letting go their big time d players.
I don't think it's impossible. I know it's impossible. Maybe if you were smart enough to realize that after every year goes on, the players' contracts get larger. OMGLKJLKSJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So one year down the road we will have to release a bunch of key players for three free agents who have large contracts. I iz be zmarts son!
obviously you are not a fan of criticism. haven't you heard of controlling the market? With the hiring of Parcels it makes this team a more attractive site because his judge of talent, that and most guys would think it would be an honor to play for the man. and we probably get rid of either JT or ZT, along with booker and traylor(probably retiring) which would free up even more space.
It's not that I don't like criticism bro. But when you take a shot at me, I'll be right there to prove my point. I've heard of controlling the market, but usually when a team is doing that they are coming off of a very good year. The team with the worst record is not likely to control the market is what I'm trying to say. Parcells will help out A LOT in bringing free agents here. Why do you want to get rid of ZT and JT anyways? It's not like they're useless right now. They're both very productive, especially considering their age. And they want to be here, which is the important part. I'm hoping we can get good free agents here, don't get me wrong, but I don't want everyone thinking we're going to sign the whole market like we've been hoping for the past 5 years.
Instead of looking for the next big expensive free agent to sign maybe the fins should start molding last years and this years draft picks into starters considering this will be a rebuilding year anyway. Next year when the roster is almost completly set sign some FA to fill in the needed positions with the extra $$$ you saved from the year before.
That was about the only time he was healthy all year. I love how Sanders plays the game, and am amazed at how much of an impact he has on Indy's overall defensive play. That said, I want no part of giving him big money. At this point he is who he is, a guy this is truly injury prone and will miss too many games.
