I will say off the bat I am a Rams fan and always have been. I will be attending the game and be cheering for my squad. With that being said though I am not here to talk **** or run my mouth etc. I am from Miami and born and raised in Coconut Creek. Either way I respect the fans of the Fins and am looking forward to a great game and wanted to wish everyone good luck. The Rams are not the joke we have been in recent past and I am proud to say we have a top 10 Defense and as most know one of the best Kickers in the NFL (sad that a kicker has made so much headlines.) I look forward to a great debate this week on here as well as cordial discussions. If you just want to say Rams suck or for Rams fans on this forum who just want to make fake accounts or say Fins suck do not waist people's time. 7 days and counting......... As Bill Goldberg used to say "MIAMI DOLPHINS...... YOUR'E NEXT!!!!"
Early! But Rams are tougher than previous seasons, hope Dolphins know that, could be a trap game before the bye and Jets re-match. And I hope its hot & humid when they make the Rams wear their dark blue jerseys.
I'm done with great games... I want a one sided affair where I can take a nap in the 4th quarter. Go Phins!
Can playing a team who is 3-2 with victories over the 3-2 seahawks and 4-1 cardinals as well as an ok redskins squad and losing in the last seconds to the lions be considered a trap game?
I dont mind comments like that if their are some numbers behind it etc. but just saying it is trying to start argument and nothing more.
Can't get a grasp on your team yet. I don't know if you guys do either. Next week should make the picture clearer. Marshall Faulk was a delight to watch, nice avy. I'm surprised by your defense, as well. Every time I glance at your scores they're always low. I would have thought there would be more shootouts. But stick around, we're usually pretty informative and honest. We'll certainly welcome any information that clarifies anything.
Last two seasons it just seemed like every once in a while another teams fan would show up but now it's a weekly occurrence.
You know robert quinn has more sacks and tackles than Wake right? and Chris long is only 1.5 sacks behind wake? So I guess I should be saying, Let Tannehill know to prepare his anus for Robert Quinn and the team who is 4th in the league in total sacks.
Wake is the second highest rated defensive player in the league behind JJ Watt on PFF. If you know of the site, they track and grade every single snap. It has nothing to do with sack totals. Wake brings more pressure than any player in the league.
O I am not debating Wake is not good, if not great again I watch every single dolphins game. I even used to read up on him when he played in Canada. I wanted the Rams to get him badly for many many many many years (we were one of the few teams who were interested in getting him at the time when yall signed him) haha all I was saying is our D-line statistically is ranked as one of the best in the NFL so do not sleep on them either.
That made me really laugh out loud! Its funny and true. To the Original Poster, how has Bradford played under pressure this year? Its not like we have much of that but he will probably hear from Wake and Starks!
Do the Rams flip flop Long and Quinn at all? Or will Quinn be at RDE and Long at LDE the entire game?
I liked the Rams when they were the greatest show on turf. I won't lie I'm not overly fond of Fischer as a coach and was extremely relieved that he didn't end up here. I'm not sure how I feel about STL honestly. I haven't really been impressed from what I've seen, nor do I think they are terrible.
We welcome opposing teams fans as long as they are here for honest and friendly discussions.Lets keep the smack talk to a minimum. Unlike politics the good thing about sports talk is that there will be an objective result after a game is over .
usually no. Quinn is the quickest DE we have and I cannot give exact off the ball times, but all announcers and analysts ever say is he is one of if not the fastest DE in the NFL. hell he caught Calvin Johnson on a break away from behind. Long is more of a power guy that uses the 4 point stance to rush basically like a bull. I honestly cannot think of a single time they have switched all year, but I will say hartline being covered by the dirty finnegan will be fun..... Rams held larry fitzgerald to a small game so well see if he can get in his head like he tends to do to many others AKA Andre Johnson and whoever it was on redskins who threw the ball at him (forgot name)
No our faster corner Jenkins from UF matches up too. I actually like him better then cortland and think he is better personally but its either one or the other. (they had him play 1v1 on Fitzgerald and he only gave up 2 catches for 19 yards) BTW whoever removed the comment from earlier about me beating my chest and my response, I say thank you and I have gained a lot of respect for this forum already. Everyone was having a simple discussion without any bashing etc. and as soon as something became present (regardless if from a STL fan or a Fins) it was removed. Honestly a very classy thing to do and a very classy forum.
Seems like I've seen Jenkins at both left and right corner in different games. Against Detroit he got that pick at the goal line playing left corner, but it seems like he was at right corner against the Cards.
He might have meant that they have a match up and stick to that the entire game for each corner. That sounds very Jeff Fischer to me.
Yeah it just depends what the rams are running and the blitz packages etc. the first game fisher was kinda sketchy and allowing him to play 1 v 1 against the stud receiver but it seems each week he is trusting him more and more and has openly admitted he is the most talented CB he has ever coached. With that said though he is still very very young and mistake will be made and are expected so I understand he will be beat at times especially from a receiver who is slowly becoming a top tier one like hartline.
Hartline against Finnegan will be a fun matchup. Never knew Quinn was so fast, good to know you're defense is doing well. Didn't know you guys had such good success against the pass. Is your defense good at creating turnovers? Are they that dominant?
Do you expect we'll see Finnegan line up on Hartline and Jenkins on Bess most of the game regardless of side?
