The way I see it is that the refs and the Dolphins are giving the Bengals gifts all over the place. And yet, they still only have a 6 point lead. This is what Miami does all the time: not take advantage of domination. Now, if only Miami could start acting like a winning team and make Cincy pay for the lack of killer instinct.
We gotta put the ball in the endzone. We're not gonna be able to stop you guys all day. Eventually we have to start getting 6 at a time. not 3.
Yes we are praising the defense now but this is tiring to do. They won't last if we keep forcing them into please save us bc of the offensive turnover situations
I disagree with the notion that they're giving up. The offense looks like a well-oiled machine, and the defense is playing pretty well (particularly on 3rd down). Take the two fumbles away and this could easily be 14-0. It's still only a one-possession game. You are right, though; the referees are making things difficult.
Yeah but they lull these better teams into complacency as well, and then at the end of the game when the score is still close, these better teams turn on the juice and win. As soon as Miami started showing a killer instinct in this one, Cincinnati would snap out of its complacency and start scoring.
