How many times have we seen this script played out? Dominate early but don't score enough to put it out of reach. Play good defense but give up big plays. Pressure the passer except on the last key drive. Make the game losing mistake: whether a turnover, key penalty, or bone headed coaching move, or some combo of those. Wish I had $10 for every time I've seen this.

This defense has stayed the same through multiple coordinators. Nobody can run on them, but they just get torched by the pass. Just further proof that if you can't stop the pass, it doesn't matter how good you are at stopping the run.
This is true, our DL is stout....secondary is dog poop. Save Sean Smith who is playing at a pro bowl level.
