    Carl's Jr/Hardee's?

I'd take that over Steak & Shake any day.

Those Steak & Shake mother ****ers are dead to me anyways, ever since they took away Peanut Butter shakes/malts.

    On Topic:

To qualify as fast food IMHO - Any place where you order your food from a counter and receive your food from the same counter. If you take a seat and have the food brought out to you - not fast food. There should be no sitting from the time you place the order and receive your order. Drive through window doesn't factor. Especially since drive through windows can be slow as **** sometimes.

    Off Topic:

Five Guys is terribly overrated. Since Wendy's overhauled their burgers, they serve by far the best fast food burger of any joint not named In-N-Out Burger. If you haven't been since the introduction of the hot and juicy, you really need to give it a shot.

If I could have a Wendys burger with Five Guy fries I'd die so happy. Especially since I put fries into my Wendys burgers. So hungry now.

Same here. This work day is going so ridiculously slow. I started reading this thread around 7:30 and was instantly starving!

As far as what makes a place a fast food restaurant, how bout if there's dishes to be cleaned after a meal, its not a fast food joint......

Now back to whats important,.......anybody here had fry's from Bojangles and does not agree they are the best damn fry in the fast food business say "EYE"....

best set up would be either a 5 guy burger at wendys price, or a wendys burger the size of a five guy burger with bojangles frys, followed up with a wendys frosty.....you just cant do better than that........

I'm not sure when the last time you've been to Wendy's is, but if you get a double of the new Hot and Juicy Burgers they are every bit the size of a 5 guy burger.

For me, McDonalds has the french fry war on lockdown. The thinner the better as far as I'm concerned.

The last time I went, they were just advertising the hot and juicy. At the time I thought to myself that there was very little difference or no difference at all from the old style burgers.....You've got me wondering if maybe the new style hadnt yet reached my wendys when I got it at the time. Ill have to try it again,...like tomorrow.....no kidding, I am craving a good burger big time after this thread LOL..

Oh and yes, Mcdonalds is good, but no kidding...If theres a bojangles near you, ya got to try their fries...

Yeah, at work, weve been on a Bojangles breakfast kick. I usually get the cajun buscuit with cheese and I was getting their bo-rounds. Last time I got sent out to get breakfast, somebody ordered fries. The fries were at the top of the bag, in plain view the whole drive back to work....Theres not a man alive who could have made it back with out snagging just one fry. Once I did, I was hooked...havent had the bo-rounds since!

McDonalds burgers are trash compared to the "new" Wendys burgers. Just saying. I cant even eat McDonalds anymore unless its just a shake. Wendys blows them away now.

I classify Steak & Shake and Five Guys as crap, lol. Went to Steak & Shake once, and it was terrible. Lousy, super greazy thin burger, and the fries were like the things that come in a can at a bad grocery store. Five Guys? Gave it two tries, in two different cities, and had the exact same experience. Easily, the worst customer service of any business Ive seen, and equally bad both times. Employees shouting at customers "Soup Nazi" style, before and during taking their order, and when the food was ready. And the burgers were only OK. I warn away as many people as I can. Just terrible.
