You just know he will be on the field. IMO, just don't throw his way. He cannot cover Bess, Hartline ,Clay or Fasano all by himself. Guy is good ,no doubt. Just the same, he does not walk on water and cannot cover every receiver coming downfield or out of the backfield and the Jets LBers completely suck at everything.

Hurts our chances but Miami has won against him before and they can do it again.

Good! Let him play! This team needs to know where it stands and there is no better way to get better than by playing against the best competition!

Just pound the ball, we might have the best running attack in the league with our OL, its going to be hot and we already played in this weather last week, pound them with the run then catch them asleep with the pass. Make Revis irrelevant.

If we can avoid getting into a shootout with them, i.e., don't fall behind big, we should be able to wear them out like Oak.

I'm trying to remember... and I don't think the Jets flop corners... Typically Revis lines up at LCB and Cromartie at RCB. So I'd have Naanee lineup across from Revis all game long and let them waste their resources. I am a wise one. I mean Naanee is trapped on Revis Island. Let him go pick some coconuts...

The Jets will lineup Revis on Bess and Cromartie on Hartline. Tannehill has to be careful not to throw one too many towards Cromartie. That said he can probably make his money off that matchup.

Yeah this isn't good, lol. You'd always prefer a Revis-less team.

Going to need to focus on getting the ball to Reggie, Fasano, and Lane in PA all the while rushing to the outside so that Reggie can cutback against their slower ILBs. If the Dolphins are going to win it's going to be a tight one, much in the same way it was last time.

Bush averaged 7.1 ypc in the first game we played them last year and he did not play in the second game up there. And that was with what amounts to no right side of an offensive line.

well, Hartline aint doin **** now. and we know Naanee will disappear. looks like it will be on Bess, Moore, Fasano, and Clay to carry the load in the passing game. honestly we might as well activate Mathews and see what he can do, he can't possibly do any worse than Naanee.

    Yep.

I'm guessing that Revis will be on Bess b/c Cromartie doesn't have the quickness to stay with him. Either way, its a big advantage for the Jets. IMO we'll have to get a herculean effort from the OL this week. With Revis back the Jets will be able to use both safeties in run support without exposing themselves much. Passing wise I think we'll have to spread them out and hope the OL can protect Tannehill long enough to make some plays for us. The good news is that our D should be able to cause a lot of problems for them as well.

Revis usually gets away with PI like Michael Jordan used to get away with traveling. That's with the regular officials. I wonder if the replacement officials would be more likely to call PI on Revis where the regular refs didn't call it.

Maybe too, call some swing passes to Lane in the right flat and let Revis come up and try to stop him head on.

All depends I guess. Have seen some games the officials are throwing the flags for just touching a receiver and seen other games where the only way the DB will get a PI flag is if he beats the receiver in the head with the butt of a pistol.

i know I always complain the NFL refs blow but what I have seen the last three weeks around the league has been atrocious and quite frankly, embarrassing. Some of these Refs could not do a HS playoff game properly.

Give Hartline some looks in the slot. Work the middle of the field. Use Fasano there as well.
Might catch Bess making plays underneath Revis. On the outside Just riffing.
    Move the sticks.
We also don't seem to have a problem running the football.
Tannehill doesn't have weakness moving. It's a good thing.

    Yeremiah Bell all day long...:deadhorse:

You know they're going to stack the box and dare us to pass. I'm guessing we'll see a lot of four wide with Fasano an Clay. Another three step drop game.

I'd only throw to the receivers on double moves on early downs.

If Tannehill starts completing sideline comebacks 10-15 yards down the field, I'll **** my pants...

Yeah, and make sure he leads with his head! Move Hartline around this week... Slot and whatnot. Use the guy like a number 1! Lets get Reggie and Lamar motioning out wide as well, to get those mismatches. Those arrogant Jest CB's will be trying to undercut the routes though, and I'm sure Philbin has got to know that!

I so hope they have Revis on Hartline, cause I think Bess can own Cromartie.

Crunch posted Philbin saying they want to get the ball to Naanee more in club. This is the wrong game to throw to Naanee if Revis is covering him. Who wins a popped up volley ball match between Revis and Naanee? My money is not on Naanee. This better be a decoy or we already have atleast one turnover before the game even starts.
