The Official What was the last movie you saw??

Probably one of the most depressing movies I've seen.
And I've heard the story before.

 

Curiosity finally got the better of me, and I watched 'The Human Centipede' today. Pretty freakin' disturbing to say the least. The crazy things that happen to hot American girls traveling through Europe these days. They made a sequel that is even more graphic, that the director says, "makes the first one look like a Disney movie." Yeesh.

Is it just me or did JGL have a James Dean-like mystique to him?

 

Mr Brooks makes up for that and more IMO. Love that movie, though reviews were mixed. It was planed as a trilogy.

saw watchmen and hunger games this weekend. watchmen was long and started getting way out there by the end. hunger games was good, better than I thought it would be.

Agreed. Worst porno ever. The sequels were good though.

Snow White and the Huntsman....what a PoS movie. Visually it was nice, but my god, the story was disjointed and who in the hell thought Kristin Stewart could act or is pretty enough to be considered fairer than Charlize Theron? What effing planet does someone have to be on to make that connection? To me this is kind of movie is worse than movies like Sharktopus. This movie should have been good, it had the budget, but wow was it crap.

 

Tucker and Dale vs Evil. Check it out on Netflix. Alan Tudyk is great.

 

Figured as much. My ex gf said it was really good.

Affleck hit a homerun. The movie had me on edge throughout.

 

When he writes or directs a movie he's awesome. When he doesn't....Daredevil.

Last movie I saw in theaters was Looper. I loved it. Great unique story.

 

Did not see it, but to be fair, it did have J-Lo and she stopped being worth a crap in a movie right after Out of Sight.

 

Sinister is a very solid horror flick, as well. Ethan Hawke is great in it.

 

I thought it was pretty generic. Felt like I've seen all the same cliches in it that I've seen in horror movies for the last 10 years.

To be fair I haven't seen a really good horror movie since The Thing or Event Horizon.

It would be thought provoking if I cared where Aliens came from. They swung and missed by not having enough about the engineers which I thought were by far the most interesting element in the film.

Rock of Ages - fun movie with the music from when I was a kid. but the sex part of sex, drugs and rock and roll was lacking. needed some groupie boobies
Who framed Roger Rabbit - my kids loved it.

 

The Experiment, on Netflix, has Forest Whitaker and Adrien Brody. It was actually a pretty decent movie. I then followed up with Scorpion King 3.....ugh.....yuck.

 

Saw 'The Campaign' last night, with Will Ferrell. It was written by the guys that did 'Eastbound & Down,' so there was plenty of offensive stuff to make it damn funny for the most part.

 

You have no one to blame but yourself for this one.

Watched the Machine Gun Preacher on Netflix last night. Pretty intense. I liked it.

Life of Pi. I liked it so much I am watching it again today.

I can see why people wouldn't like this movie however for only having one character on a boat, I am surprised by how intense the movie is

what surprised me is that a 10 year old girl that was playing with my kids last night told me how much she liked it. from the previews, I thought her response would have been very different.
