Nice read. Thanks for that! I like the idea of mcCown and Beck trading days with the first team offense. I think its a good and fair chance for each of them to compete for the starting job, let them get comfortable with the players to create a more even playing field to try and determine the starter
Nice read, thanks Anthony. I just want a fair and equal QB competition with no preconceived notions about who wins. Let the man who demonstrates he can move the team best, start. I don't see anyone as having an edge over the other players at this position, except I think Henne is going to have to ride a clip board for a year before Parcells gives him a shot.
Lets hope they decide the winner early, and get them the snaps though. Don't want to go into the season with a QB who only had 1/2 the snaps!
What's the old adage? It goes something like: "If you got two quarterbacks, you really got none" I hope we don't have two quarterbacks for long!
He says the right things...however what really matters is what happens on the field. In a way I kinda hope it all clicks for McCown and he's able to end up having a stellar career with us...but I'm not counting on it.
