I hate that Miami kept a $4million Dollar backup DT in Tony McDaniel who is in his last year of his contract over a young guy who made his share of plays all pre-season long in Aaitui. This stings even more because it was the Jets who claimed him.
on the BJ Cunningham to the Eagles story... apparently he was added to their practice squad only... not added to their 53. Makes a little more sense now.
Don't think we'd add 3 WRs to the PS, and I'd say he was behind Hogan and Fuller in the pecking order.
Come on chaps. We are pretty poor at WR and we let Gates go. Im in with FO decisions. Gates has not stepped up. Shown squat. Naanee...hmmm but I see him being released sooner than later. Gates isn't in our plans. I'm down with that.
With the addition of Armstrong, I'm okay with letting Gates go. I just hope he doesn't burn us this year... I can see the Jets ST Coach Mike Westhoff finding a use for his speed on returns. Probably the only way the Jets score.
I see a few other teams that will torch us this year... I don't see why our D should be concerned with Gates....
yeah he could be dangerous on special teams, but in this offense with this guy.....i'm not concerned...
I'm just glad it wasn't the Patriots. Not because I think the players are any good or will be, but because the gnashing of teeth that occurs is genuinely pathetic.
Yeah but they traded for Greg Salas because they were worried we would claim him, so now he'll be an All Pro.
A guy who Sparano couldnt develop is once again being developed by Sparano. Yeah, great pickup for those ****tards.
Nahhh. They are hard to understand because of all the 'mkays' and 'aights' on the little yellow sticky notes.
By the time the Rams make that pick, Salas will have replaced Welker in the lineup and be racking up 100 catches and 1200 yards a season.
U mean Gates will stick his knee out from the sideline and cheapshot our Gunner on kickoffs? Is his knee that quick?
dudes body ain't cuttin it in this league Imo...and he's 26 already..Can he beat you deep?, sure?, but I don't think he can do the other stuff.
1. Sparano is calling the plays for them. 2. Their offense could very possibly feature Tim/Sanchez throwing to Patrick Turner. 3. We still got Naanee who is just a beast; he's kinda like the Yetti in that regard. 4. At least these guys didn't land in New England where they can pop up and bite us in the *** twice a year for the next 5 years.
